A Texas high school student has filed a federal lawsuit against her school and her teachers after she was punished for refusing to salute and recite the Mexican pledge of allegiance.
The Thomas More Law Center filed the suit on behalf of Brenda Brinsdon alleging the McAllen Independent School District violated the 15-year-old girl’s constitutional rights when she was forced to recite the Mexican pledge and sing the Mexican national anthem.
Brinsdon, who is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant and an American father, refused. She believed it was un-American to pledge a loyalty oath to another country. Ironically, the school district has a policy that prohibits a school from compelling students to recite the American Pledge of Allegiance.
The lawsuit states Brinsdon offered to recite the American pledge in Spanish but the teacher refused her request.

In 1984, Randolph High School student Susan Shapiro – with the backing of her parents – made headlines when she refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in her homeroom.
The case led to a lawsuit, and school officials were forced to admit that Shapiro had the right to express her beliefs by not standing.

I get it that someday in the future Mexico is going to own what is presently the American Southwest, but damn.. why are our kids being forced to capitulate so soon?

Because their teachers and school administrators capitulated years ago, and force students to do these things. Parents either don't know about it, or don't fight against it, or fight and lose.

Just heard an ad on the station that carries Rush this morning for a roofing company.
“Mexicans get 50% off”.
I called them immediately. Receptionist has no idea what the ads say. I’m still on hod after asking for a supervisor.
Americans think they’re “nice” capitulating to an invasion while pretending it’s not an invasion.
The madness of BO cannot account for this.
