BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Buffalo-based attorney who is spear-heading a lawsuit against Governor Andrew Cuomo's recent gun laws said that Wednesday was "monumental," as a State Supreme Court Justice issued an order requiring New York State to show good cause that the law is constitutional.
New York State has until April 29 to respond or else an injunction will be issued.
On Thursday, thousands are expected in Albany to rally against the Governor's gun laws. Many are looking to preserve local jobs at places such as Remington Arms, while others say they are just citizens who feel that their Second Amendments are being infringed upon.

One little shred of common sense the jungle of destructive, feel-good politics.

It is not the place of the government to tell the people
when or if infringement is occuring but the people’s
to demand the government not continue to infringe.
The people will decide if they are the subject of infringement, and woe to the administration that
ignores their voice.
Chenango and Schuyler County legislatures are passing resolutions against enforcing the SAFE Act in their counties. Cuomo is having to go back to the drawing board to accomodate Hollywood and Police who were not exempted. Everyone I know sasy they will refuse to comply. This thing is unraveling fast.
Our constitutional forefathers didn’t fight and sacrifice just to guarantee our right to hunt.
The PEOPLE are just saying... only when they say (to paraphrase my husband).
I don’t give one damn what those F’s do in Albany as i’ll be the one who decides how my guns are outfitted!
The people should take tar and feathers with them and show Cuomo out of town on a rail.
Good news. What makes the article a little misleading is that in New York, the designation “Supreme Court” refers to a trail-level court (New York calls its highest court “The Court of Appeals.”) So this case likely will have at least one level of further court review.
It won’t matter either way so be ready. If we show up with 500 and they only bring fifty the MSM will turn it around making the numbers look the opposite.
