Today on CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward told CNN that he has been threatened by White House staff over his budget cut challenge. WOODWARD: Well, I think they're confused. I think they've got this idea. I mean, they put out these long talking points and said, see, even Woodward's book reports that Speaker Boehner said, let's get $600 billion over ten years in revenue in the super committee. That's exactly right. That's not the sequester. And they've said - they have,as you know, I said, get somebody from the White House here, and we'll debate.
BLITZER: We invited the White House to send someone here, to debate this issue with you, and they declined.
WOODWARD: Why? Why? Because it's irrefutable; that's exactly what happened. I'm not saying this is a moving of the goalposts that was some criminal act or something like that, I'm just saying, that's –
BLITZER: But it's getting pretty nasty. Take us behind the scenes a little bit. The allegations being hurled against you right now.
WOODWARD: Well, I mean –

You wait. They will attack Woodward in a creative way. They will roast him on MSNBC. He will get in a shouting match with Bob Beckel or some other sycophant. TMZ will get a picture of him in his underwear. He'll be a tax cheat. He's suffering from senile dementia. He's takes prozak. He's an an alchoholic. He hooked on Benadryl. His mother wears army boots. His brother had an affair with his school teacher. He went AWOL in the Korean war. He never paid his parking tickets.
Barring that, he will get sued. For something. Anything.
Let’s put the seriousness of this in perspective. A senior WH official (obviously with the president’s full knowledge) threatened the journalist who took down Nixon. “You will regret doing this.”
These Chicago thugs aren’t afraid of anyone. If the boot-lickers in the media do not wake up and band together over this, there will be nothing stopping Obama.
Indeed. The Mafia we’ve come to know over the past thirty or forty years was pretty ruthless, yet they had a few rules of honor, or at least practicality. One of them was that you don’t put a hit on the judge of your trial. The Obama regime apparently considers that level of discretion to be bad for business.
They might get mine, but I’ll get quite a few of them before they do.

I with you on the cynicism. However, even whores get testy when they are not paid. Just ask Bob Menendez. Obama has not been paying the press with much lately, not in access, not in time, and certainly not in respect.
Yet the media owners pay him handsomely in election donations.
You are way oversimplfying it...he is EVIL...born EVIL...raised EVIL...HE IS EVIL...
They have always been psychotic.
Whether true or not in the Hollywood version, FReepers of a certain age will remember getting chills during the most suspenseful moment in the Watergate movie when Woodward and Bernstein are warned by Deep Throat that their lives might be in danger.
This incident brings back memories and Woodward looks like he is confronting Barry head-on!
Please don’t call me a conspirator but I wonder if Breibart got one of these calls and never told anyone.
I wonder if that’s why congress and the house are so silent.
I wonder about all the jopurnalists that might try a scoop but turned down by editors or snubbed or relegated to the mail room or let go.
This has become a one party nation real fast.
Obama is coming in for the kill.
I mean we knew it all along but this guy must have run away syphilis or some horrid brain disease ala Soros to have so much hatred he forces his “subjects” to keep paying more taxes or the soldiers will starve and the illegals and murders will be let out and he’ll allow his good friend Farrakhan to hire Treyvon-like gangsters to keep us in line as they use their illegal weapons as he tries to take the legal one...oh i must stop.

They have known a long time but still don’t care. it is all about their agenda and making it happen. They don’t care about responsibility or the country.
Don’t get your hopes up for the emperor being exposed by the press.
And why should Obama give one ounce of respect to the American "news" media. The media has been genuflecting and kissing Obama's ass these last four years; they have covered for him, lied for him, distorted the news for him, protected him, worshiped him and brainwashed millions of Americans for him. Obama is treating the obsequious American media with the contempt it deserves.
Like an abused wife blindly in love with an abusing, cheating husband the American so called "news" media will always crawl back for another kick in the teeth from their beloved Obama and his Democrats. The MSM really are the deluded true believers. And Obama knows it.
Robert Redford, whom Woodward played in the movie, publishes a book every 18 months or so. The name of the aide will be in Robert’s next book, be patient, and be prepared to pay for that piece of info.
She was born detestable. We all know older women and men - MUCH older than Amanpour - who are very attractive. Generally those are people whose ‘outside matches the inside.’ Wasn’t it Churchill who said we’re responsible for what we look like after 40?
“The People” have no idea who Bob Woodward is. Even if they listened to him, he is so incoherent in this interview they would have no idea what the sequester dispute is about.
The rest of the media has the reportig technique right. Just talk about the sky falling and people will listen. Then blame it on Republicans. That’s a big lie the people can understand when it gets repeated enough.
Funny thing is the “monster in the White House” was created
and nutured BY the media. Forget the movie. It was filmed
already in the 1930s and starred Boris Karloff as Obama.....

Correct. They did when Jarrett went after Fox and tried to exclude them from the White House press corps, so we can hope. This situation where the president and “all the president’s men” lie all day every day with impunity can’t be more serious.
Barry can’t get his agenda through if the Dems don’t retake the House and pick up more senate seats in 2014 and they can’t do that if Barry can’t deflect all blame for the coming disasters onto the GOP unimpeded by truthful journalists like Woodward. Barry wants to run the table. His arrogance is amazing and will be his downfall.
