WASHINGTON -- Bob Woodward isn't the only person who's received threats for airing the Obama administration's dirty laundry. It seems anyone is a potential target of the White House these days - even former senior members of the Clinton administration.
A day after Woodward's claim that a senior White House official had told him he would "regret" writing a column criticizing President Obama's stance on the sequester, Lanny Davis, a longtime close advisor to President Bill Clinton, told WMAL's Mornings on the Mall Thursday he had received similar threats for newspaper columns he had written about Obama in the Washington Times.
Davis told WMAL that his editor, John Solomon, "received a phone call from a senior Obama White House official who didn't like some of my columns, even though I'm a supporter of Obama. I couldn't imagine why this call was made." Davis says the Obama aide told Solomon, "that if he continued to run my columns, he would lose, or his reporters would lose their White House credentials."

For the media it is always all about access. The DBM sold their soul to “The One” early on in exchange for access. Seems like that deal with the devil isn’t working out so well for them now. They will not be able to control this monster they helped create.

I’m kinda split. On one hand, they sure did help create the monster, but they can also destroy him by suddenly getting honest. Whereas the Right already knows the MSM is full of crap 99% of the time, the sheep on the left think the MSM is honest and only Fox is lying.
If the MSM starts getting even half way legit, Obama disintegrates with no means of support. Because as soon as the MSM gets into a civil war, he loses his propaganda outlets. And this he has no support.

That's exactly what I was thinking. The Clinton's have a lot of bottled up rage against Obama. This time, they are going to go all out and it's going to be take-no-prisoners.
We might even see Obama’s real birth certificate or why he uses a SS number registered to someone else. The Clinton's still have friends in high places and spread through out the government. The Clinton's are scary too. Hopefully, each side takes the other down.

People need to break out that video of Obama cornering and physically intimidating Joe Lieberman on the Senate floor during the 2008 campaign, when Lieberman was supporting McCain.

As editor-in-chief of National Journal, I received several e-mails and telephone calls from this White House official filled with vulgarity, abusive language, and virtually the same phrase that Woodward called a veiled threat. “You will regret staking out that claim,” The Washington Post reporter was told. Once I moved back to daily reporting this year, the badgering intensified. I wrote Saturday night, asking the official to stop e-mailing me.
