As they desperately throw everything they can think of at the wall, and hope SOMETHING sticks.

I guess the dems don’t care about the cases where the battered and abused men have to stay in the homes of their abusers.

The Republicans should simply respond with their own made-up tales of woe.

Free-range chickens might no longer be allowed to roam as widely, and, chickens raised in cages will be confined to even smaller cages.

Major league baseball might have to shorten their games to only eight innings. Did you know that?

The Daytona 500 might have to be shortened to the Daytona 425.

“V8”, the vegetable beverage might become simply “V7”.

Likewise, “7uP”, the drink, might need to be changed to “Six Up”. What would the impact be on the soft drink industry?

The band “Nine Inch Nails” might have to change their name to “Eight Inch Brads”. That would suck, big time.

And for malt liquor drinkers, the news is somber indeed, Colt 45 might have to change to Colt 42, and “Olde English 800” would probably have to go to Olde English 700”.

I don’t want to sound insensitive but even if this statement were true why didn’t the abused woman leave the bastard when there was funding?

I guess the AR-47-seeking dems won’t be too phased that sequester means they’ll have to settle for downsized AR-4’s

Got to love all of this craziness. Last week we were treated to the Dems coming out in force telling woman about to be raped, to pee on themselves instead of depending on guns as a form of defense.

It just gets to the point that I wish I could live in an alternate universe, cause this one has gone nuts.

Isn't it??? This sequester might work out to be the best thing to come down the pike, since all of these stupid-ass statements are being put out as doomsday scenarios, and people seem to be paying attention, as seeing that this isn't really going to cause any problems...

Because sequester didn’t go far enough and our politicians are still being paid Lady Liberty must continue to suffer abuse at the hands of Democrats!

Last I heard, safe houses for abused women were being run by various charities, not by the fedgov.
