Her “positions” are simply summed up as rebellion to God’s given value system.

It’s part of the curse, so He fully understands - “your desire will be for your husband’s role, but he will rule over you”.

She’s a typical leftist - hating everything Christian.

In one, she criticized the tradition of a father giving away a daughter at a wedding - which she calls "a common vestige of male dominion over a woman's reproductive status."

Her parents divorced when she was four years of age. I'm guessing the lack of having her father in her life, since her mother moved them back to Kentucky after the divorce, has something to do with her disdain for that tradition.

Ashley was a pretty good actress when she was young and a hot little thing, I think her radical womens lib turn affected her acting as well. Last time I watched one of her movies for 2 minutes on tv it was all this new age short hair woman power talky talky relevant liberal speak, I’m thinking in particular of a snooze fest with Ellen Barkin, another washed up lib.

her outspoken nature is yielding decades of pointed and controversial comments which Kentucky Democratic strategists concede are a gold mine for the campaign of potential opponent

Yeah, just as obama's statements were a gold mine for McCain and Romney. But did these gutless wonders use any of those statements? Y'all know the answer.

“My dentist here in Indy (well connected with a lot of racing folks) said she is just an annoying b!tch, LOL.”

I know from close contacts that her soon to be ex-husband will not miss her!

Don’t get cocky. Arizona just elected a new congresswoman, Kyrsten Sinema. She was sworn in without a Bible and she thinks at home moms are leeches. She calls herself a “Prada socialist”.

I saw her in a movie years ago, can’t even remember what it was but she was totally naked in it. One will have to admit she was really pretty.

Since then I have seen some of her quotes and she is on the cutting edge of the radical and to a large degree, stupid left.

Just about as sorry as person can get.

Wasn’t the last Demoncrat senator from the Commonwealth Wendell Ford, who retired from the Senate in 1999? He had a long history of involvement in the Commonwealth, including a term as governor, prior to his service in the Senate.

Somehow, I don’t think that Ms Judd stands a chance.

She needs to head to a more liberal, more celebrity conscious state, likely on either coast. Calif would be perfect but DiFi and Boxhead are there in perpetuity.

Ashley Judd’s appeal, if any, lasts only up to when she opens her mouth and speaks. She is clearly meant to be seen and not heard.

Earth to Ashley, pregnant woman, women with small children, or young teenage females are particularly vulnerable human beings. The father is relinquishing his protection to another man in whom he is placing his trust for the protection his daughter, to assure that her protection is maintained as she brings the next generation to life. It has NOTHING to do with dominion.

Ashley, sweetie, you can trust your father or husband or you can trust the government for protection. That's your choice. Historically, the latter has been a rather perilous option. Please remember that if you are faced with sudden danger and your only option is to dial 911.

...”The people of Kentucky won’t vote her in but the Dem Machine will...if she runs.
Just like Franken”...

The Democratic machine could not get more than 38% of the KY vote for Obama. I would be very surprised if Ashley Judd has a chance without widespread vote fraud. Her radical views sicken me..I read her book and, I couldn’t help but think of how estranged she must have been from her husband to constantly run off around the world without him..Now, of course they are getting a divorce.

Saving the world, one cute outfit at a time!

A blogger named Josh Trevino posted a hilarious account of his travels in Africa with Ms. Judd in 2005 for the YouthAIDS organization. He was not impressed with her.

The original blog post has been removed, but there are a few copies still floating around the Internet, one of which is on FR:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/1665919/posts

The "saving the world" quote is from the original Trevino piece.

As is to be expected though from the media, the piece ends on a very pro-Judd note.
