What Maxine Waters is talking about is how The Obama "database" will just be passed along to whoever the Dem 2016 candidate is ... giving that candidate an incredibly powerful tool with which to do things like micro-targeting.

The real issue here is that Obama has such a database, and you have a senior member of Congress telling the world that it contains information on EVERYONE.

That's a MASSIVE privacy issue. What kinds of information does it contain, where did the information come from and how is it being used? Should people be allowed to demand to see what information it contains on them (like can sometimes be done with a FOIA request)?

Unfortunately Rush overshadows the real problem here by taking the discussion down an absurd path to an absurd conclusion.

My take too with a little twist....may be that her point is Obama has info on potential Republican/Conservative candidates that Dems will use to defeat opponents and help get another lib Dem elected in 2016. Soooo people don’t have to worry ....they’ll continue to get free stuff since another left liberal will be elected after Obama. God help us.
