Op-Ed: Note To Kerry: Kyrzakhstan & Palestine Are Both Myths
Arutz Sheva ^ | 2/3/13 | Moshe Phillips

On John Kerry’s first international trip as U.S. Secretary of State he made a gaffe worthy of Joe Biden. The headline of London’s Telegraph read “John Kerry invents country of Kyrzakhstan”and the Daily Mail asked “Where’s that exactly, Mr Secretary of State? John Kerry makes up new country ‘Kyrzakhstan.”

But more than just fodder for the British press, Kerry’s blunder exposes the truth that he is not the expert on international affairs that the mainstream media, Obama Administration and J Street all vehemently claimed.

And at this time, when Kerry created Kyrzakhstan out of thin air, there is no time like the present to remind Kerry and the rest of the denizens of Foggy Bottom that “Palestine” and “East Jerusalem” are just as mythical as “Kyrzakhstan.”

Let’s recall what actor, comedian and pundit Larry Miller (Pretty Woman, The Nutty Professor and The Princess Diaries) wrote in an April 2002 essay titled “Whosoever Blesses Them: The Intifada and its Defenders” for The Weekly Standard (it went viral and by mistake was almost always credited to Dennis Miller):

“The Palestinians want their own country. There’s just one thing about that: There are no Palestinians. It’s a made up word. Israel was called Palestine for two thousand years. Like 'Wiccan', 'Palestinian' sounds ancient , but is really a modern invention. Before the Israelis won the land in war, Gaza was owned by Egypt, and there were no 'Palestinians' then, and the West Bank was owned by Jordan, and there were no 'Palestinians' then. As soon as the Jews took over and started growing oranges as big as basketballs, what do you know, say hello to the 'Palestinians,' weeping for their deep bond with their lost 'land' and 'nation.' ....”

Our new SoS showed up an hour late for his meeting with the Turkish Prime Minister and later was ignored by key members of the Egyptian ruling coalition. Citing a fictional country is the least of Lurch’s problems.

Famed Red Sox baseball player Manny Ortiz is in fact a native of Kyrzakhstan.

Kerry after all spent Christmas in Cambodia. He saw 2.5 million Viet Nam soldiers perpetrating war crimes and killing Babies. He said that soldiers now terrify peasants in the countries we are fighting now. Kerry's witnesses in the winter soldier testimony were also phony and told great lies. One said he bombed North Viet Nam indiscriminately but it was later found out that he never was in the Military.

One might recall Kerry’s participation in the secret war in Cambodia that President Nixon waged in 1968.

None of the lame-stream media, in any of the “57 states” will cover this story. Imagine if this were the Secretary of State under G.W. - - the media would be having a field day.

I don’t know how Kerry got a reputation for being an expert in foreign service unless it was for bargaining with the Viet Cong in Paris or betraying us with Chavez in Argentina.
Not backing our Ally Britain on the Falklands and supporting the Contra’s when they caused trouble.

If that makes him an expert , it is that he is an expert at doing everything wrong.

Kerry created Kyrzakhstan out of thin air, just like he created his expeditions into Cambodia and the Purple Heart war wounds he received when he SERVED in Vietnam. Kerry=Jane Fonda except for the Jock Strap.

Kerry served in Vietnam? I never knew that! I wonder why he never mentioned it when he was running for president?

Who is this author to refute the ingenious, highly cultured duck hunter who served in Vietnam?

Kyrzakhstan exists. Kerry was sent there illegally on a secret military mission and that night is SEARED in his memory.

You'd think someone who calls American soldiers the hordes of Genghis Khan would at least know its Kyrkazbekistan!
