Popular Standard Shotgun Could Be Banned Under Proposed Bill (Berkeley With Snow?)

A popular hunting shotgun could be banned under one of the bills moving through the state Capitol.

A pump or semi-automatic shotgun is the gun most hunters in Colorado use. It’s a gun state Sen. Greg Brophy, R-Wray, says could be banned under a bill that’s already passed the House and Gov. John Hickenlooper says he’ll sign.

“They’re coming after the standard shotgun,” Brophy told CBS4 Political Specialist Shaun Boyd.

What has happened to Colorado over the years shows you what can happen with a Politically Correct...feel good society...Coloradans should protest Hickenlooper in mass and all those politicians who are supporting the destruction of our Second Amendment.

They will never be happy until all guns are banned and ordered to be confiscated.

That is why we must fight them every inch of the way. Each new law is one step closer to copnfiscation.

Anyone who believes differently is dead wrong.

These beady-eyed, traitorous politicians can ban all they want. The real question they're afraid to ask is:

Can they actually ENFORCE it, and survive?

Play russian roulette with the Constitution, and our inalienable rights, and there's an even chance that they will lose.

I think they should be made to understand the answer to that is No... but the evidence of their own eyes doesn't seems to be making much of an impression.

“Berkley with snow” is right on. I played football at the U of Denver in the 50’s. They gave it up in 1960 to become the “Berkley of the mid-west”. Became a real leftist institution

One more time with gusto! Is this the second or third time this was posted? However, it does help get the word out and we get to see new and “better” comments.

No matter, it still is a GUN GRAB that hurts our 2nd Amendment rights.

If Hick signs these anti-2A measures, he will find them challenged in court, immediately!

He will also find massive non-compliance across the state.

I project less than 10% compliance with magazine capacity limits.

Can they actually ENFORCE it, and survive?

They firmly believe that they can enforce their will on the citizens and they will continue relentlessly with every resource available to them. That is the nature of the problem.

Perhaps they overestimate their chances. That will not improve the outcome.

I have spoken at some length with State Representatives and Senators on these matters, and it appears to me that they do not fear the voters at all. They do seem to fear armed resistance to the State. They are unshakably committed to disarming the citizens "to insure public safety".

In my opinion, we are past the point where letters, protests, or votes can fix anything.

We might get to find out if the Sheriff’s Association will keep to their word about not supporting such laws.

Let’s not forget that those crazies murdered their victims only after they, too, had been disarmed.

My take, too. Oh, well, they were warned.

that's the point, THEY don't have to enforce it, they leave it up to their minions while making laws with the bravery of being out of range...

Their actions speak volumes. They truly fear honest, law abiding citizens more than the criminal elements of society. A criminal element is solely the cost of doing business for politicians, a useful tool to promote their agendas. Honest citizens, especially armed law abiding citizens, are the real threat to their power.

Well then they better hope that their minions’ loyalty to them is stronger than their minions’ sense of self-preservation, because once we go through their minions, the politcians will be next. This country won its independence with less than a third of the population supporting a revolution.

Gun stores in Txas were wall to wall people yesterday. Amo is marked up thee times what it was this summer. I see deep issues in the months and years ahead. Thanks Obama for proving Obama’s 2016 is going to be 10 times worse than any of us at sayers could have ever thought possible.

100% they wouldn't be so fast to enact these fascist laws if THEY had to be the first man through the door...

Excellent post.
You have “summed it up”.

All that remains to be asked is...
“What happens next...?”

Note to Governor Hickenlooper and CO politicians: Payback is coming and the citizenry is really P.O.’ed. Better have your bug out bags ready because I don’t think the citizens are taking prisoners. In the case you CO politicians don’t remember, do an Internet search for “Nicolae Ceausescu” and his 25 December 1989 execution by firing squad.
