FReepmail to get On/Off the Gun Talk Radio Pinglist.
I wonder if there’s a Mosin-Nagant down in the basement?
I decided against going. One...There was nothing I REALLY had to have, and two...I didn't feel like getting in the middle of a cattle drive!
Yeah, The local fellow just redid his parking lot, but I told him the other day he needs to make it bigger, because every time I go out there lately you have to park on the street!
Looks like a good time and a crate load of sore shoulder.
It don’t hurt in a PSL
I want to watch it too, but I bet that is a story that get's told again. ☺
I’m rarely able to stay up late enough any more to watch anything that’s considered to be in prime time, lol. Don’t have a DVR, and I never have been able to figure out how to wire my VCR up to record, what with the roughly 30,000 wires back there behind the entertainment center!
You can’t even buy blank tapes anymore! LOL
That said, that is all I have too LOL
Welcome to my world LOL
I can understand the technology but stuff is just too tiny to be useful to me.
I e-mailed and asked them about it, and they said they had encountered some "fit" issues making that specific one, and had pulled it from their product offering until they get it resolved. They still offer it that way for the Ruger LCP, which is very similar, but not for mine. Just my luck!
Am I the only guy on the planet that just uses a cellphone as a phone?
Hmmm.. that is odd.
Both are extremely popular.
Lot's of old farts like you. prolly still shooting 100 year old rifles too.
LOL! It took me 6 months to figure out how to text with mine, and another 6 months to work the d@mn camera.
My Mosin Nagant was made in 1897 thank you!
I have never texted and I will be damned if I will pay extra to text LOL
It’s like one step over telegraph.
William likes his .22
I’ll have to make it til 2038 to be able to shoot a 100 year old rifle, cause my Mosin is a youngster from the 1938 model year. (That was the first year they used those chromed fin shaped tail lights, LOL.)
My 1897 Sestroyetsk has Finns too!
Its a Finnish SAKO re arsenal capture from the Winter War.
Quite you fool! Fienstien will take your 116 year old rifle!*
And by the way, are you going this year? I would love to finally make it to one, and meet a bunch of FReeper friends.
Completed my CHL renewal course at the Elk Castle Gun shop and range in Fort Worth yesterday.
That place has gone Muther Hubbard, and what’s left is priced into the stratosphere!
$30 for a 50 round box of .40 cal S&W ammo...
No I have never taken that old rifle to a TCMS gathering.
I may take it this year, but the thing is just so HUGE!
It is longer than a 91/30, it is the model 1891.
I try to travel light now.
Yeah I will be there for sure this year, i haven’t missed a single one.
Hey, Fred Flintstone...go see yer cell provider.
I’m sure yer due for a free upgrade!
That’s all I use my ancient 2006 Nokia 6060 “Clamshell” cellphone, for: a phone. I disabled everything else.
Good deal, Glad to hear you are current.
Mickey is stocked up with everything.
Prices are high, but that is what he has to pay to keep the shelves full.
Still, there are deals to be found.
Picked up that crate of 7.62x54r for $240.
So I am not the only one? LOL!
Yep. I'm taking a commercial break now.
It's pretty good. Out of time constraints some rather large sections must be cut, but they seem to be keeping the general story line going. There is so much there it is almost impossible to put to film (CD?).
The Israelites are currently slaves in Egypt. It a pretty unpleasant existence. Frankly, that sort of bondage and slavery is precisely what the 2nd Amendment is there to help prevent. As far as I can tell, we have no Moses on the horizon yet so we need all the help we can muster from among the potential slaves to keep us free ...
Yeah, it looks like they are cramming a lot into a short format.
I watched the AWB S.150 hearings on CSPAN yesterday.
The libs are really pushing.
They are pushing to hard.
Obama doubled down on gun control during his sequester presser on Fri.
They are going to push to hard.
As the last fellow said during this show, they have no idea that 25% of even radical left wing libs believe in the 2nd amendment.
I’ll have the rooftop carrier attached, so bring a few long guns along to the TCMS. Pooks will have plenty of room to lounge about.
I like shooting cheap ammo.
This fellow was one of the few sane voices during the Senate AWB hearings.
Senator Blumethal was so pissed at this mans logic he threatened to have him thrown from the hearings.
It was stunning, I thought he was going to call him an uppity ******.
Mr Johnson to his great credit never raised his voice or lost his cool.
This clown really means to disarm us.
I’ve still got a box of 4 of the 6085s left-over from my closed business; plenty of batteries and SIM cards. I’ll juat keep using the 6060 until it dies.
I hate to throw stuff way if it works fine, but one day I’ll make the changeover to 6085 unit. I just don’t need a $600-900 i-this, i-that thingy.
Here is the deal with most anti gun liberal types.
They are **** scared of guns. They have been indoctrinated to be **** scared of guns.
They honestly have this irrational fear that if there is a gun in the area it WILL kill someone.
I was kinda raised the same way, then one day when I was like 22 someone said what the hell are you wringing your hands about?
And with that I saw that I had an irrational fear of an inanimate object.
Then I was taught, that I control the object, IT does not control me.
Well, the rest is history.
Just like that I had been deprogrammed.
The thing may never die LOL
That used to be a feature.
