Rep. Gohmert introduces CR amendment defunding Obama's golf outings until White House tours resume

There are very few in Congress I actually like. Most Republicans in the House have proven to be nothing more than Democrat-Lite trying to please the media, and Obama to ‘get along.’ However, Louie Gohmert is a rare exception. He doesn’t take any of Weeper Boehner’s crap. Today, the Texas Rep. introduced an amendment to the upcoming CR to defund Obama’s golf outings until White House public tours resume.

Hoping this is NOT satire. If true, it is absolutely the right thing to do. As a matter of fact, lets defund Obamas wild campaign trips around the country, unless the Democrats are paying for it.

Louie Gohmert is one of the best of the best.

By the way, when did this start where Presidents had taxpayers pay for their hobbies? I remember a few years ago they had an ‘inside the White House’ thing on Travel (or some channel like that) and the WH chef stated that his services are paid by taxes only for official functions but Presidents are responsible to pay for personal meals, vacations, and entertainment on their own.

Of course, that was before Bo and Moo.

Of course, that was before Bo and Moo. That's still true today. Of course, taxpayers pay (and have historically paid) for AF1, secret service, and other related costs, which often dwarf the "vacation costs" that are billed to the President.

The Dallas Morning News has a really snarky liberal columnist that tries her best to paint Gohmert, Perry and Cruz as crazies. She went for it big today. Makes me so mad. She thinks standing up to the democrats should be mocked and made fun of.

Yeah, and ohole MUST be required to take his former lover with benefits, Reggie Love with him ON THE SAME PLANE with the mooch and the kids. This family NEEDS to get to know one another. I hope and pray his kids will one day learn the real truth about ole dad, who he is and what he “likes.” And how they served their purpose as props for the oboma’s “perfect socialist family” photo-ops. .

Damn! First Louie then Ted, kicking butts with both feet.

Lil John Cornyn better keep heading our way or we have a guy name Williams waiting in the wings.

Texas National Government has a great bunch for a great startup.

Bo and Moo. Love the names. Reminds me of a now defunct black owned Chicago food store by the name of Moo and Oink... Let’s see, the mooch can be the cow, and the bozo can be the pig, and they can carry on the tradition of Moo and Oink. You can take a cow and a pig out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the cow and the pig in the White House.

The Austin un American, ultra liberal, longhorn, not statesman has the same problem. We dropped our subscription after they had a story on the front page that had the title: "Third chimp escapes from research center" and had a picture of then President Bush next to it with a small blip about a proposal he made to congress. I sent a letter to the editor that was never published.

I don’t understand what this party is doing anymore. With all that there is to scream about they worry about the usurpers golf. Yeah, nice jab. What about stopping obamacare or drones flying over our heads. They have so much and do nothing. As Amerika is transformed into a socialist country, we get excited by a jap.
