Make cuts hurt: email reveals
Fox news ^ | 3/6/2013 | Fox news

A leaked email from an Agriculture Department field officer adds fuel to claims President Obama's political strategy is to make the billions in recent federal budget cuts as painful as possible to win the public opinion battle against Republicans. ...According to the partially redacted email, the response came from the Agriculture Department’s budget office and in part states: “However you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be.”

Earlier I said, "The problem is that they go out of their way to make sure that any cuts happen in the most high-profile, painful places, while leaving fat in place. That way they are assured to continue their treachery." It is nice to see actual confirmation of what we already knew.

Unfortunately, the left has perfectly Alinsky’ed Fox. If it is reported on Fox, low information voters never hear it, and moderate information voters think it’s garbage.

Until/unless we find a leader and unite, we’re doomed.

Yep. Close and shutter the DOE (both of them: Education and Energy), the EPA, 1/2 of the NIH and 100% of the new “agencies” obozo created. Billions of dollars saved and the US would not even know they are gone.

Let the TSA go back being private and contract it at .50 on the dollar (or better). Better service and lower cost.

The government wants only one thing: GROWTH

The Prez is a real piece of work, and there is no doubt that the Machiavellian Prince would resort to any means to prop up his regime and achieve his ends.

I agree, apparently these people will stop at nothing including damaging the country and it’s people to keep from loosing....If they’ll do that, they’ll do anything.

You know... on the other hand if they make these so-called cuts really painful on the public we just might say:

Hey, let’s just forget about you guys providing those services, we’ll do without or maybe do it ourselves instead.

What's Lisa Jackson's dog's name again? Nobody really thinks that the really good stuff is on official government servers do they?

The command and communication bunkers of Obama's soldiers needs to be haked and archived for their eventual arrest and prosecution.

What they are doing falls squarely on RICO, treason, and conspiracy laws.

It is even more evil in nature than your statement. The fact is that Obama has the idealogy that he desires to cause as much pain for his subjects, in the hope that it will expand his power.

It is dictatorial in nature. Period.

King Obama and his criminal communists empire will finish America off because the unformed Americans are too busy playing with their butts. America is finished unless we keep the House and gain the Senate. The communists Democrats in the Senate will block any chance of impeaching King Obama.

Donald Trump on Letterman offering an email bounty for every document soliciting harmful actions against the public on the part of government officials will be rewarded generously as long as it can be authenticated, would be sweet.

There are some honorable government workers. (some)

You know in the real world any manager who can’t cut 2% out of their budget would be fired. And yes, I realize it is not a real cut.

Local school districts use the same tactic when confronted with a levy on the ballot. They threaten to cut bus service first. This will of course inconvenience nearly all parents.

We need to call their bluff and hold their feet to the fire on the budget choices they make.

I work for the FAA and yes we have got the warning e-mails and I’ve deleted them so I won’t response back as to how full of BS they are.

There are a lot of people here at work who just talk about the “mythical” cuts all day long instead of working.

I’ve tried to explain to them about baseline budgeting and there are no cuts but they just don’t want to listen. They think the higher ups wouldn’t lie to them about it.

They are talking now about firing the temp hires and special hires, just to get every one screaming at the GOP to quit the cutting.

Security came in the other day and escorted a couple of contractors out because they were fired on Mar 1.

There is a lot of waste in govt and I see it every day but no one gives a rats ass except for a very few.

Whoever thought we’d descend this low — to elect a president who would prefer to PUNISH us, instead of lead, protect, and inspire us?

It’s just not my country anymore. It’s something else ...a living hell.

I’m really having a hard time getting motivated to do much of anything lately ...it’s just so depressing to live in a land like this. It’s just so foreign — to have such a lack of hope for the future.

I pray America just figures out a way to do what it needs to do to rid itself of this morelock that has latched/leeched onto this country. Nothing but bad news this guy is.

American logic is as follows if I get it right...........

Elect a president and an unconscious legislature who will keep me happy by giving me a free cell phone, food stamps, housing assistance, healthcare, all the while they procure tanks, predator drones, hellfire missiles, ammunition, and evesdropping gear to monitor my movements and associations and decide if I am contrarian to their liking?

Did I get that right?

“It’s just not my country anymore.”
Right. It IS like living in a foreign country. I can hardly understand some people when they speak. I don’t GET their music, etc.

I know every generation looks at young people like they are so revolutionary.. but this group of young people is positively inscrutable. AND in a way that does not promise anything better for the future.

Who was it who said: ‘Every new generation is a wave of savages, that we have to cultivate and civilize’?

Anyway, THIS group is beyond ALL hope.

I am sure that ‘Revolt of the Masses’ was entirely accurate! I thought so for a very long time, but now I am certain!

The mass comes along and enjoys, consumes and destroys EVERYTHING in the culture with NO idea where it came from, how it became or how to sustain it into the future as a proper behest for their children.

Except that the Prince was an "elightened despot" - he wielded his power, however harshly, in the best interests of the people. Obama and his puppeteers on the other hand clearly hold the United States in contempt and wants to destroy what is left of our nation. The very fact that he would release criminals upon the public shows that he doesn't care who gets hurt (or much worse). The man is a sociopath.
