House Speaker John Boehner on Wednesday suggested the White House is being less than candid about how it is implementing sequester cuts to its own budget and said the decision to cancel White House tours is politically motivated.
"The President is trying to make it tough on members of Congress," Boehner told CNBC's Larry Kudlow. "It's just silly. I want to know who is being laid off at the White House. The Capitol is open for tours. We've been planning for this for months."

Yeah, if they’re no longer doing tours (a stunt just intended to piss off the public), did those tour guides get laid off? If not, what ARE they doing now? Just sitting around?
You go from one democrat president to the next one and you barely have to change headlines............
With all the various sexes represented in this evil White Hut who is getting LAID?
I heard that the White House tour guides are unpaid volunteers. Thousands of taxpaying tourists who planned their Washington D.C. vacations months in advance are getting screwed for nothing. Typical 0bama b.s.
The tours are self-guided. Plus nowadays you just can’t walk in off the streets for a tour. You have to arrange it ahead of time through your congressperson. Given that so many of us don’t want to make the effort, plus I personally wouldn’t ask my idiot congressman for anything, I wonder how many people does the White House get for their tours.
Au contraire, mon ami.
(A little French lingo there to demonstrate the esteem in which I hold the froggies.)
There are, at last count, over 1,000 employees in the White Hut and the annex. We have assorted homosexuals, lesbians, transgendered wierdos, et al amongst all the other sex starved heterosexuals.
Who in the hell wants to see the White Hut while this moronic, phony Chicago sewer rat hangs out there?
Why don't you bring up the 16,000 new IRS agents hired to enforce the Obamacare taxes?
Why don't you bring up the 38(?) "CZARS" the Administration hired plus all their staffs?
Why don't you bring up the 1.6 BILLION rounds of hollow point ammunition DHS has purchased?
Why don't you bring up the 2,700 MRAP armored personnel carriers DHS has purchased?
There are so many extravagancies in this Administration.
For God's sake, Boehner, learn from Alinsky - USE RIDICULE ON THEM! Do you need help with more?
Well this jive ass punk pissed me off and last night I wrote him a note that in no uncertain circumstances told this punk what I thought of him.
I expect the secret service to shoot me with a drone shot as I drive at any minute.
Also wrote cbs, nbc, abc and fox and told them what I thought of them for not holding this magic negro accountable the same as they did noxon???
But no, those things are rechargable, so it's not the batteries - it's the electricity to recharge them that was sequestered.
But no, the White House uses more electricity than Al Gore's house, so you wouldn't really notice the recharging of those little talkie sticks. So it's the...
You know, I don't really know...

With Obama in the crap house I won’t even go in the vicinity of DC or northern VA, even though I have family there, much less the crap house.
Now that Boehner has stopped crying long enough to complain that his constituents can no longer call their Representative and get a White House tour , how about he starts asking about giving millions to Christian killing Egypt.
Ask about some of these things being cut.

WH tour cuts sound petty even to libs.
That’s progress. Twenty years ago during the Clinton administration, the question would not have included the word “off”.
The Obamas can even soil the Smithsonian. Last time in DC, I toured the museum. There was a display of First Lady gowns. The one for Michelle was the ugliest rag I’ve ever seen.
