You are right for the most part but where I live Cruz has a lot of support, I think it was just a matter of not being organized locally. I’m not pointing fingers, I was just dissappointed.

Interesting. Do you have a link for that background?

I’m no fan of pro-amnesty, kindergarten-talking Rubio, but Cruz has impressed me so far and I won’t hold his father’s politics 50+ years ago against him.

I know he was for Castro...at first.

I remember sitting in a dorm room, about 1960, in TX having arguments about whether Castro was what he turned out to be ...or not.

I don't remember much about it but wonder now if Obama is more open now than Castro was at the time.

Yes, I like what he is doing but he shouldn’t run for president. His father was a terrorist.

You must have read that on the internet, so it must be true...

Were you dropped on your head as a child...?

I read it in an interview with Cruz in an Austin newspaper. He admitted it when he was presented with the evidence of the date of his father’s arrival in the U.S.

His father admitted to being a terrorist ?

So because Ted Cruz father was a a Cuban revolutionary he is not qualified to be POTUS ?

You do understand many people in Cuban was fooled by Castro...?

Anyone who was arguing about what Castro was in 1960 was deficient in information. Castro led an armed insurrection of radical leftists in 1953 - which failed. He was apprehended, tried and jailed, and then let free in an amnesty less than two years later. He was always a thug and a bully.

Nobody with a hot potato in their history should run for president, because the opposition will find it and use it. Cruz made a big mistake when he tried to pass his father off as a victim of the Castro regime. Now there is a public record of that lie.

I love this man. He’s smart and ideologically American-American. I hope he brings up people around him and becomes a great leader.

God, please don’t let him become self serving, corrupt and treasonous like the rest.

As I said, I was in a college dorm. I didn't waste my time listening to the news. "Deficient in information"...LOL! yes, and didn't care. We wondered if he was good or bad...but didn't lead any marches or sit ins. We really didn't care. In fact, we were care free.

So if the Government deems that the individual poses an imminent and immediate threat, it is then Constitutional to take them out? Am I missing something here?

YES! Obviously you ARE missing something here Las Vegas Ron!

Think about it please. Senator Cruz phrased the question perfectly.

Cruz is a liar everybody! We have to find someone else in the Senate to rally around.

Who do you recommend kabumpo?

I like him as a senator, I just don’t think that a Republican can make it as president with that kind of baggage.

The media will make a big deal out of anything they chose to. For goodness sakes, Romney was a boy scout and we saw how that turned out.

And by the way, the msm is losing credibility.
