At one point, the robber shot the victim in the hand, and fearing for his life, the victim pulled out a handgun and shot the robber multiple times, police said.
Both of the men were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Unit, where the robber later died. The victim received a non-life threatening injury to his hand.

"The robber loses in this case," Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said.
Police are still investigating the incident and are talking to witnesses.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
It sounds as if the perp had the drop on Mr. Tillman, and then shot the hand that was feeding him. I’m glad the good guy won. Once you’re shot while complying, you might as well draw down and take your chances.
What's that got to do with anything???????
Anyone want to give the Miami police a clue that this case is closed?
the shooter won........
Can’t wait to hear from Devon’s mom.

LOL! They always throw in headlines to other stories in the middle of the articles in some websites.
I think the trees were protesting what happened to the guy. Damn peoplehuggers.
I hope Mr. Wilbert Tillman is the "right" color. Otherwise, he might be tied up in court for years, get bankrupted by his legal bills, have his life threatened and a bounty put on his head, and have the news media crying for his scalp!
Mr. Tillman, I’d like to introduce you to George Zimmerman as soon as Sharpton and Jackson say they have proof that you fired first.
