Stunner. Lindsey Graham Organized GOP Dinner With Obama Last Night (Video)
Gateway Pundit ^ | March 7, 2013 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/07/2013 7:24:03 AM PST by yoe

When Barack Obama wanted to organize a dinner with Republican Senators he knew just who to call – Senator Lindsey (“Tell the Bigots to Shut Up”) Graham. Last night Lindsey and twelve other Republicans went to dinner with Barack Obama in an attempt to make the far left president look bipartisan.

Lindsey spoke with reporters after the dinner. “So when the president asked to get together a group, I was willing and honored to do that.” Video:

obama and his thugs must be laughing like mad at how stupid the beltway republicans act.

Quick Paul is doingthis , get the stupid idiots out to dinner, thus makin it look like I;m reaching out, use this as a headline and split the GOP again.

After the dinner bozo must say to his side kicks” how stupid are they, they fall for it yet again”

These sell out fools are like battered women, get beaten down and once in while they see a nice gesture so they think they;re making headway in their relationship

I think it is ok to have a meeting. It gets some media time. The big problem is the GOP does not then jab the kenyan for no budget, no senate budget, never meeting with the GOP, etc., once you get the camera time. That is the real problem. No energy or fight in the beltway GOP.

The Dems would have been all over Bush 24/7 had he been constantly late with his budgets in a terrible economy. That is a huge part of why they win and the GOP has been losing.

"Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania,.."

It looks like Pat Toomey is playing both sides. I saw him standing up with Rand Paul during the Fillabuster.

Yes, when some of these fence sitters saw the tremendous support #StandWithRand was getting, they slipped in to the chamber to get some face time.

I threw a sock at the TV when I saw Toomey and McConnell showing up late for the party.

I agree with you. Obozo, the clown of all US presidents, could have called about any Rep Senator, and that Senator would have arranged a lousy dinner meeting. If not-Obozo would have insisted his slave boy press secretary hold a highly visible press meeting of the loyal progressive party’s MSM. propagandists to destroy the man and party.

What was the centerpiece? A pig with an apple in its mouth and its butt in the air? Can’t get much more servile looking than that.

Substitute a baby elephant for the pig and you'd have it about right.

Just more clear evidence of the surrender-monkey GOPers that we are being betrayed by....and HAVE been betrayed by....all along.

The establishment GOP is complicit in the destruction being wrought upon America. And as such, they too will pay the price. The ultimate price.

Be careful what you wish for, surrender-monkeys. Some day those drones might be aiming at you.

Pathetic. It really IS all a big game to them, being the Good Ole Boys of DC (think there's a song in that phrase - Toby Keith/Trace Adkins take note).

As the RINO McCain said, "We have nothing to fear of a Barack Obama presidency", during his presidential campaign no less. And now Jeb Bush gearing up? Pfft. We're toast. Still, my tagline stands and all it implies. Send this Constitution loving old fart on point.

So, South Carolina, how y'all feeling today knowing that LYNDSAY POO arranged the sit down with the POS occupying the WH. Who knew SC was a blue state?

He also slammed Rand Paul for his filibuster, something more conservatives need to do: put the blame on the WH and DOJ.

The controllers had dinner together last night - the others were filibustering. "Republican" has never really been synonymous with "liberty", but in the past the GOP at least had somewhat greater respect for traditions and the Constitution than the Democrats did. That's gone now, and the old labels no longer work as shortcuts for critical thinkers.

Utterly brilliant post. Thank you.

Absolutely breathtaking how quickly these pseudo-conservative politicians turn their back on the people who elected them. The fact that Ayotte and Toomey are already drinking the RINO kool-aid is demoralizing. Both of these Senators had excellent conservative credentials. Even though the Tea Party backed a different candidate in Ayotte’s primary, she was backed by Sarah Palin who called her a “true conservative”. Her margin of victory makes it clear that she had tremendous support from the Tea Party and other small-c conservatives in the general election. Same goes for Toomey. But they’re both now kowtowing to the GOP Senate old guard and being idiot GOP props for Obama, similar to Chris Christie. Conservatives work so hard to elect someone that they believe is a genuine conservative and it seems like in at least half of those cases the people they supported immediately betray the trust.

Or are we seeing the Republican party split in two?... which is what the President wants.

Zero is right for the wrong reason. This is a positive development.

Freepers know that this battle has been going on for years. But not everyone knows that. Paul brought the battle out into the open.

The Tea Party gained credibility, even from the Left, and the credibility of the old guard was diminished. This will bring more people over to our side. We can elect more Tea Party candidates, and fewer Rovebots.

I have a somewhat different take on this meeting.

It was an educational outing. By smoozing with the President, those present can experience him up close. They can feel and absorb the mendacity that oozes from his every pore. Than parry the threats he certainly made.
