Palin's Cry: Cling to Your God, Guns, Constitution
The Winter Haven News Chief ^ | March 9, 2013 | Mary Toothman

LAKELAND | Former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin was fired up about God and country when she spoke Friday at Southeastern University in Lakeland. And she was dressed for the part.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate visited the Sunshine State at the request of the organizers of the school's seventh annual leadership forum. She was quite a presence on the stage, in a lipstick-red suit and fierce high heels.

Her passionate talk was peppered with such vibrant cries as "Cling to your God, your guns, your Constitution!" and pleas for the next generation to change the country's moral fiber. "That will make our foundation crumble if we choose to ignore it," she said.

Not one to tiptoe around sensitive topics, Palin got right to the point on reasons she said the country is in crisis.

"Today, look around, and don't you wonder sometimes if, as a nation, we have forgotten God altogether? This is a crucial question," she said.

Palin said the school asked her to talk about hope and resilience. She said she would but "not that Washington, D.C., ‘hopey-changey' blah, blah, blah stuff, but real hope."

Mostly, the 49-year-old hammered such topics as the corruption of Washington, D.C. — "It's a hotbed of cronyism" — and federal spending — "The federal government is bloated, corrupt and out-of-control."(continued)

I still maintain threats were made against her family and she chose to not run to protect her family.

Threats are made against every public figure, and she doesn't seem like the kind to capitulate. I mean, she handled that stalker next door pretty well.

I'm afraid that she was discouraged by the polls. I hope not.

“What say you?”

Still relevant. And dangerous (to Demoncrats and RINO traitors).

I sense a Conservative revolt in the Republican Party is afoot - and will probably pull Palin back into the mix.

Not sure if there is enough time to save the Republic peacefully though.

Last Wends. was the Revenge of Palin on the E-GOP.

Banished metaphorically to the out lands, those that she endorsed stood proud and did their jobs via the Constitution and the Rules of the Senate to be deliberative and challenge the Executive Branch exercising the Balance of Powers.

In a land of Cronyism, Get along to go along and an addiction to K-Street money, she helped a handful of Patroits, and they did what they were supposed to do via our Founders and the Lame-Streams tried to make them into subversives.

The Irony is they ( the old guard, lamestreams ) are the subversives.

It may take 3 election cycles ( google the Jack Abramoff Interview on the David Janda Show and listen to the pod cast ), but this is the beginning...

I wouldn't be surprised of Graham-Nancy is primaries and politically beaten like a rented mule and a recall petition initiated in Arizona (if possible) on McCain.

Even if the next election cycle increases our Senate Numbers to 49, and we keep the House, we essentially run the block on Oboingo.

Now if the Senate pick ups are all in the Palin -Cruz - Paul mode and reinforce them, and thwart the likes of a McCain and his remaining RINO Lackeys it would be a great thing.

The Republic hangs by a thread, and the irony of it is the most influential politico, is a Mom they tried to destroy on so many levels, that maybe all of 5'-4" and 115lbs with more Piss and Vinegar than 500 hacks and lackeys in DC, with the desire, voice, and clarity to foster the election of handful of Patriots that might save the Republic from falling into an abyss.

Don't tell me G_d doesn't work in mysterious ways....

I sense a Conservative revolt in the Republican Party is afoot - and will probably pull Palin back into the mix.

I prefer to believe that the Conservatives have finally had enough of the spineless Republicans and they're starting to stake out their own territory. Rand Paul fired a magnificent opening shot, only to suffer mightily at the hands of Republican bulls like McCain.

My suspicion is that Sarah Palin understands the corruption within the GOP (their treatment of her might be a clue!) and realized that trying to change the party from the inside was a fool's errand. So she has been laying low, studying up on all the issues and waiting for things to improve.

And now, after Rand Paul's rebellion, perhaps Conservatives have found their voice and Sarah might be interested in jumping back into the spotlight again. Sure hope so! Sarah would make a MUCH better candidate for the Conservative Party than for the Republicans.

That's when you know a woman wrote the story. You don't even have to look at the byline.

Also note the reference to her age later in the story. How often does the media report Hillary's age as part of the story?

Okay, here it is, Hillary is a 67 year old battle-axe. She is nothing more than a libtard.

OK, here it is: Given the trend of the women's vote, the power of the liberal media and the size of the entitlement vote, Hillary is likely to be our next President.

I don’t think either Hillary or Bill are healthy enough to run.
Another 4 years won’t help any

I say those shoes are stupid. I love Sarah, but I hate those shoes. And I am female. I see women tottering around on those things and all I can think of are the bound feet of the Chinese upper class women in the old days, it’s stupid.

God, Guns, Guts, the Constitution and "fierce high heels."

Ummmm, I like that. Sounds very exciting to me. Nothing better than the smell of gun powder and female pheromones in "fierce high heels".

OK ladies. Guess you figured out I love high heels on a female. It does wonders for their good posture. Think about it. :-)
