During Fridays marathon gun control hearing in the Colorado Senate, Republican Sen. Kent Lambert offered an amendment to exempt active military members, veterans and their families from the gun magazine ban.
Enter Sen. Mary Hodge, a disgraceful Dem who urged fellow lawmakers to oppose the exemption because some of them come back with significant mental health problems.

‘No CongressCritters should have high-capacity mags; most are mentally ill’
Fixed! :)
Just in case you want to see what a Fat White Pig looks like.
I just hope these idiots can keep the psychosis going till the next election.
That woman certainly has significant mental health problems-and so does anyone who voted for her...
DO NOT due what I just did. I searched “Mary Hodge Colorado”.
What has now been seen cannot be unseen. Its going to take a lot of brain bleach to get that image out of the memory bank.
She’s certainly a few Twinkies over the line...
Maybe those kind of folks should also lose their right to vote.
Nobody needs that many twinkies.
Those that are the best trained and most capable of using weapons should not have them. Sure, makes sense. Only if a government in planning on being tyrannical, that is.
I agree. I was watching it live and was thinking the same thing. The Democrats voted it down, because they don’t want anyone to have magazines...
Give the pubbies credit for playing some really good head games with the CO DemonCraps (new name, changed from DemonRats, because DemonRats wasn’t sufficiently disrespectful). Now the DemonCraps are on record voting against vets, saying women don’t need guns to defend themselves against rape, and having one of their leading gun grabbers exposed as a former criminal who’s probably not reformed herself. All in all, excellent work for an embattled minority.
“I’d prefer if he didn’t perpetuate the idea of special classes of citizenry.”
I disagree. He was being smart, fighting the DemonCraps by using their own methods against them. He forced them to go public by voting against vets and their families. Not bad for a day’s work and likely to bear fruit in the 2014 CO elections.
I agree, but at least he exposed another Colorado idiot legislature with this proposal.
Let’s see.....women on campuses can’t have weapons because they might not know what a real rapist acts like and shoot an innocent, OR they might get shot with their own weapon. They should use vomit, urine, and complain of a headache instead.
Now veterans shouldn’t have guns because they might be mentally ill. I guess if their house gets broken into they should act crazy or somefin....or maybe they need to throw vomit or urine on the home invaders....it’s SO confusing!
Straight jackets, rubber rooms ~ enemas, liquid meals ~ all in due course.
Just finished watching Dong Yi ~ a Korean epic ~ and Fur Shur the king would have had the palace guard commiting snicker snacks all over the place on these people ~ they are not it to govern ~ they are not fit in any regard ~ probably aren't even human.
Let’s subject all legislators to background investigations that equal those the veterans have passed, to find out who’s too crazy, corrupt, or criminal to own a gun. I don’t want marginal personalities like those who people the entire democrat party telling me I’m not sane enough to have enough force to oppose their tyranny.
CO has been infested just like so many of our southern states.
These liberal ignorant locusts move on mass, vote the same way which ruined their high taxed, socialist cess pits and then make the people of CO or the south be punished for living how we want to live.
The amount of times I;ve heard dopes come down here and then complain how we don;t have to wear helmets, how we do not have our cars checked for pollution, how we fly a confederate flag, go hunting, have fires in our backyards, don;t have bicycle lanes or street lights, how we do not go along with the feces turd poking agenda etc etc etc is amazing.
Don;t move here, to the south, CO or any other mountain state from your cess pits high taxed, high crime, pro illegal pro turd poking states if you cannot grasp the basic concept of how the natives want and do live.
Go back north and west, leave us the hell alone and give your money to your old states for your liberal socialist agendas
One family moved here from NY, they don;t work, live on welfare, want their half black daughters have a scholorship, because of their color, drive like loons, complain that the free breakfast and lunch they get is not good enough, live like tramps but proudly display an obama yard sign.
They contribute nothing to our state, no taxes, no nothing, because they don;t get even a FL plate for their car, but they sponge and scrounge of us who are working and living here.
Then they wonder why the neighbors can;t stand them .
Some people might commit crimes; therefore, the state has no choice but to punish everyone.
Stalin would have make perfect sense of such thinking.
make drugs legal for the dope heads but deny constitutional rights to gun owners and for those who serve and have served fro this country
Take it since the infestation from CA to CO the new people want drugs, turd poking feces marriage and ban guns.
Maybe they would like to sit about getting high all the time and sing peacey songs whilst telling eahc other how smart they are and collect welfare or go to a school, piss about and then comaplin about how much it costs, a cost they agreed to at the get go
Send this thing an e-mail demanding that she support a bill that will subject all legislators to pass a background investigation before qualifying for public office, in order to weed out those too crazy to govern. How many Hodges would we then see?
Her e-mail address: mary.hodge.senate@state.co.us
The Stalinists don’t want anyone with actual training, standing in the way of their totalitarian takeover.
Here’s the e-mail I sent to the deranged Colorado Senate Dems:
The Mother in Georgia, protecting her children, hit her attacker with 5 out of 6 shots, and he still was able to walk and drive away.
What if there had been 2 or more attackers?
It is NOT your job to determine how many rounds of ammunition is “enough”!
It is NOT your job to determine whether I can receive a firearm from a family member.
As family members, we know who will be responsible and who may not be, which is perspective NO government program can legislate.
The Senator who claimed to have “statistics” suggesting women are better off not being armed, when attacked, is either a liar or a fool.
But, it’s nice to have such useful idiots around, to show the desperation of the anti-Second Amendment crowd.
The Second Amendment was not drafted for hunting, or simply self defense from a criminal attacker.
The Second Amendment was put into place to guarantee the rights of the individual to be equally armed as military,
both foreign and domestic, in the event that the citizenry might have to fight their own government.
The Second Amendment is about making sure the population would not be controlled, dominated or oppressed by a government.
Which now means we have the right to own weaponized drones.
No liberal should be allowed to serve in public office; all are mentally ill.
Same thing Feinstein said-—they have their talking points down.
They shouldn’t be cops either.
“that many twinkies”
That’s for sure-it is a double edged hazard-not only does the sponge cake go directly to the hips-the creme filling in sufficient quantity apparently can cause brain damage...
I’m hoping one of the natwebsites, and talkshows assigns a staffer to gather all the idiodic statements comming out of these Colorado anti-constitution anti-self protection demo-com legislators and puts them into sundry formats, sound, video, and print. Giving them the widest circulation possible. Not only in Colorado but throughout the US.
The legislator in question sorta looks like a typical member of a liberal church denomination.
I asked a State Rep to file a bill to deny all law enforcement officers, Federal, State, and Local any weapon that is denied to the people of NH, just to piss of the liberals.
He is having some health problems but he thought it might be fun.
No ‘progressives’ should be allowed to run for office; many are mentally ill.

We need laws term limiting all public officials.
We need laws in place that state any public official who drafts a law that is repugnant to the State and Federal constitutions respectfully, they will be charged with a felony and immediately removed from office!
We need laws that demand any public official who holds a public office purchase a 100 million dollar bond in order to hold that public office. This will protect every American who may be harmed by any legislation that is deemed unconstitutional. Because a public official is a “liberal socialist” they will be a higher risk of violating the limitations in our Constitution and will need to provide double the amount of bond to 200 million dollar liability insurance!
We need legislation that requires every public official to meet with his or her constituency at 20 public meetings prior to any legislation being considered.
We need legislation requiring any proposed Senate or House bills be posted at least 90 days on-line and be made available to the public at large BEFORE the bill(s) can be considered for adoption.
This should keep all public officials busy so they are not sitting around dreaming up legislation that curtails Americans their natural rights and reminds these public officials they work for US, we are NOT their subjects!!!!
It has always been about handguns. Assault rifles are just a decoy to try and get their anti-gun foot in the door.
Once they get a ban on AWs then they will use the same reasons to go after handguns.
John Kennedy killed with a 5 shot bolt action rifle.
Charles Whitman, killed 14, wounded 32 others mostly with a bolt action 6mm hunting rifle. Also used a shotgun and an m1 carbine.
Medgar Evers, shot with a 5 shot 1917 bolt action Enfield rifle.
Martin Luther King, shot with a 4 shot Remington 760 pump action Gamemaster rifle.
Bobby Kennedy with a .22 Iver Johnson Cadet revolver.
George Wallace wounded with a 5 shot Charter Arms .38spl revolver.
Howard Johnsons shooter killed nine, wounded thirteen with a 4 shot RUGER .44 mag Deerslayer rifle.
Gerald Ford attacked with a 7 shot 1911 semi auto.
Edmond OK post office with two National Guard 7 shot 1911 pistols.
Ronald Reagan and Jim Brady with an RG-14 .22 revolver.
What do they all have in common? NONE over 7 rounds, yet after each one came a cry of panic to ban all of them.
No elected official regardless of party designation shall be allowed to vote on any proposal, before the body to which they have been elected, because they may be suffering from grandiosity of purpose.
I support the individual rights of gun owners and "dope heads." How about you?
sounds whacky hey making dope for the dope heads tobe legal but trying to ban a constitutional right?
I support gun owners, as for dope heads, LOL, must be under the I;m dopes up and a dope but I like to get high and it;s all about that law
sounds whacky hey making dope for the dope heads tobe legal but trying to ban a constitutional right?
I agree - hence my statement of consistent support for individual rights.
as for dope heads, LOL, must be under the I;m dopes up and a dope but I like to get high and it;s all about that law
I don't see an answer there to my question - but, then, I read only English and not Babble.
Some people enjoy getting "high" on alcohol; I support their right to do so (with reasonable caveats such as no driving drunk, no disorderly public behavior, etc.). How about you?
difference, second amendment is there.
as for individual rights, well does that apply to coke, heroin, maybe sex with a goat, hey how about marrying your sister.
If you cannot see the difference between a dope getting high on dope and taking a constitutional right away then so be it
sounds whacky hey making dope for the dope heads tobe legal but trying to ban a constitutional right?
I agree - hence my statement of consistent support for individual rights.
difference, second amendment is there.
No difference - the Tenth Amendment is there too.
as for individual rights, well does that apply to coke, heroin,
Yes and yes.
maybe sex with a goat,
Maybe. Why do you care - can't compete with a goat?
We seem to have decided (and reasonably so) that animals have the right to not be tortured - so maybe they have the right not to be used by humans for sex, too.
hey how about marrying your sister.
No right there - a restriction of marriage to nonrelated couples has a reasonable relation to the valid purpose of discouraging incestuous reproduction.
You want LSD, heroin, Coke to be legal too.
Next you’;ll be saying Govt has no right to stop kids having these drugs, , next sick twisted step is to open a drug shop with druggies outside to be next to a school, I mean after all why should Govt tell people where to sell their drugs?
Yep you do what ever you want, it;s all about you after all Govt should tell anyone anything and to hell with the rules and law
Thanks for reminding me about those occupy scruffs .
And the addictive mind-altering drug alcohol too. How about you?
Next you;ll be saying Govt has no right to stop kids having these drugs,
No I won't - kids have always been restricted in their exercise of rights, and properly so since they are not mentally mature.
, next sick twisted step is to open a drug shop with druggies outside to be next to a school, I mean after all why should Govt tell people where to sell their drugs?
I support local zoning regulations as a reasonable approximation to what people would voluntarily arrive at through the use of easements and covenants.
Yep you do what ever you want, it;s all about you after all Govt should tell anyone anything and to hell with the rules and law
No, to Hell with only those laws that punish non-rights-violating acts such as drug sale and use.
