DENVER- A TV host is speaking out against Colorado's gun proposals. If passed, he plans on moving all productions out of Colorado.
Michael Bane is an Executive Producer and host for the Outdoor Channel which currently has four series in production, including the popular show Gun Stories.
In an email to Republican Senator Steve King, Bane says if the Democrat-sponsored bills pass, Colorado will become known as unfriendly to sportsmen and will force other producers across the country to consider other states.
The host says he's already cancelled a scheduled filming session for late this month.

Good! I urged Magpul to leave Colorado, also.
A bit of pressure for the Rats to sense before they vote on this next week. Let them stew on it.
I like Michael. I get his blog updates daily.
He was one of those who argued early on for Romney in the primary season. And I argued that he was making a big a$$ mistake. But he like many though moderate was the way to go. Now he and Coulter and the rest.wonder what happened to the election. And think that they didn’t go moderate enough.
These folks drive me nuts.
Tell Michael Bane and the Outdoor Channel that they are welcome in Arizona.
I will leave CO too ... for short trips to WY to buy 30 rd. mags.
“Now he and Coulter and the rest.wonder what happened to the election.”
It takes three to five years to turn a liberal into a moderate who leans conservative. Another three years is needed to turn that moderate into a fire-breathing conservative.
Lots of positive news from Colorado the last few days.
I could leave Colorado too, taking my six figure salary with me. Admittedly a smaller blow, but I doubt I’d be alone. I could easily stay with my same company and go to California (fat chance), Texas, or Arizona... Seriously thinking about it. Even looked at some real estate options in Arizona.
There are more outdoor TV producers here in Colorado than any other state. I’m one of them. The State of Colorado and their ad agency is wholly unsupportive of any of us. I try to promote Utah whenever possible. They love and sponsor many of us.
Anti-Second-Amendment Coloradans are already planning to replace the older fashioned tourists with New Age, environmentalist, animal-worshiping pot smokers and even more federal funding. The politicians for those efforts in both parties are already in position for it. CO changed quite a few decades ago, despite the many claims to the contrary (tourism, revenues).
And BTW, hordes have been scooting into CO from the northeast (NY, NJ, all) over the last few years, demanding more tax hikes, services and social engineering. The current gun control effort may also be an effort to replace more residents with people from the northeast for an even larger socialist and corruption-tolerant constituency.

Is Michelle Malkin moving? She set up her shop there.
Please move Michelle.
Answer my own question: Here is Michelle to the rescue.
Some REAL reporting. Not MSM lies.
Your post seems to be asking for the obvious question: why are you hanging out in a state in which you are increasingly unwelcome?
Might be that you don't have much life experience or are very young; it's typically very financially and intellectually foolish to pick up and move on a political grudge. There are many factors in the sophistication as per quality of life. Luckily for me, I can work around it and fight the good fight against Boulder liberals. Please, FIGHT... and drop the retreat crap.
When I had pay cable TV, I enjoyed the shows on the Outdoor Channel. The shows with Michael Bane were some of the best on firearms and shooting skills.
By not making video in anti-gun Colorado, that state looses money spent there by production crews, local guides don’t see money or national exposure and we pro gun people know who our friends are.
Oh, I have life experience (and I’m no longer young, note the screen name), just not experienced in what you do. I have always been aware of what must be major financial considerations in any business uprooting—but note that companies in California, or so we are told, are doing it all the time and moving to places like Texas.
It’s just that you seem to be extremely unhappy in your business environment and casting an envious eye toward Utah, where I suppose you could engage in the same business activity. That’s what struck me about your post.
That being the case, I don’t understand why you posted what you did and then not note that you intend to stay and fight, a position which I admire.
I know a healthcare company that wants to expand their investment in mental hospitals. Their next target is no longer Colorado even though it was a first option. They are southerners and do not appreciate the hostility in Colorado to conservatives and religious beliefs.
