Heck, look at what happened to Alcee Hastings. Elected congressmonkey after being stripped of his federal judgeship for corruption.

“He’d still win re-election if he ran again.”

That’s my reaction as well. Now he’s got even more street cred. And we know to a black that bothers to vote, nothing about a candidate trumps being black.

:: He’d still win re-election if he ran again. ::

Because his constituency (crony politicians) will get paid and the voters will get enough crumbs from the cronies to keep them on the Rust Plantation.

Michigan passed a Kwame amendment .... bars elected officials convicted of felonies involving the violation of public trust from election or appointment to a state or municipal office for 20 years

“corruption”?
That’s a nice way of saying he took bribes from drug dealers to help them get aquitted.
Guy should have gone to prison for good.

Obama would nominate him for a cabinet position, if he weren’t going to jail.

That photo IMHO is why in the fall of 08' they needed to get Kawame off the stage, they couldn't have it, it was to damaging to have Obama juxtaposed to Kawame.....
