It sounds insane but some of these girls have zero idea what they’re getting into.
My husband and I were jaw-dropped when we overheard a clueless bubbly young southern girl wearing a headress (working at a Payless) talking to her fellow employee why she wanted to marry an Islamic guy. She was listing the three things he insisted on before marriage (didn’t hear #1)
#2 was him going out, no questions asked, whenever—to spend time “with the guys”—”and I said, sure, like, I like spending time with like my friends, too, so like that was no problem!” she said.
#3 was when they have kids, that the kids would go every summer to stay with his family in the Middle East(!), which she expressed something like “—and I said, sure, the kids ought to get to know their grandparents, y’know, like I used to stay with my grandparents back in the summer..”
(oh yeah, hey legit American citizens, spend time with Uncle Muhammed learning how to be a terrorist /suicide bomber!)
We went out of the Payless, our heads spinning. What should anyone say or do overhearing someone this ignorant in a situation like this? We should have said something, but we were dumbfounded!
Yes, humans invariably desire to be taken to task.
I’m wondering if it is because they can’t handle the way women are treated as sex symbols in today’s society. Maybe they view men as a protector in that society.
It’s sad.
This is what I was thinking,but you state it much more eloquently.
Women like strong men, or at least brutality which can be mistaken for strength. American boys are being raised like the French of the early 20th century - feminized and taught to surrender/run away from bullies.
To borrow a quote from a book from C.J. Cherryth, if your culture does not provide for a basic need of a people, they will be seduced by the first culture that does.
Women who want to get married to a man who will protect and provide, to stay home and have children, are demonized by secularists. Women who want the traditional husband and stay at home mother model have trouble finding a man who will do this, because their western counterparts want to shack up or even live off her income. So she falls for a Muslim man who promises what she wants, but she doesn’t realize that it is a dramatic step down from the 1800s-1950s family model.
Remember that being a martyr, per the Quran, guarantees you a spot in the Muslim version of paradise. Now someone must help me on the current tally, but I’m pretty sure that the 72,000th Muslim to die a martyr, did so quite a few years ago.
So how does this work? Do new martyrs displace old martyrs? Does a martyr with a higher body count of infidels slain, displace a martyr with a lower body count?
Inquiring minds want to know.
How people give this cult moral and logical relevance is beyond me.
Consider the advantages:
- Quit blowing thousands of bucks a year on a wardrobe. Just a couple of basic burquas in black and black will suffice.
- With those there’s no reason to ask anyone “Does this make me look fat?”
- No need to stress over guys on construction sites ogling you....because you know they won’t be.
- Odds that somebody will slip a roofie into your drink drop to zero.
- Good chance that you’ll be able to share the housework with three other wives.
It’s better than being gang raped and terrorized by the neighbors.
Interesting stats. But, where r the numbers of ex-muslims who have left islam? There r valid stats of the converts to islam who leave islam in less then 2yrs, that figure being 75%! Females who convert r mostly based on “cupid romance” & leave islam after experiencing the true islam & submitting to the male.
