Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment had informally ordered Abound Solar to clean up hazardous waste at four Front Range locations, where concerns were raised about contamination.

The CDPHE found 2,500 pallets of “unsellable” solar panels and over 6,000 gallons of hazardous liquids. The panels and liquids contain cadmium, considered a toxic substance by federal health agencies

--as an aside to this, can't get on the Pahrump Valley Times website right now for link, but one of the huge "solar" developments near here has applied for permits (in California) to build a 30 mile, 12" natural gas pipeline---necessary to keep the fluids in the solar plant warm at night---

Look up The Sundancer solar car. This is a car designed and built by a group of high school students from my hometown. They have won all 11 races they have entered including one in Australia. The school has a girls’ team now.
