Noticed that too. And in TN! Maybe because it’s too early in the season but NASCAR has done it’s best to turn off a lot of its base.
That said the cost of going to a race is just amazing! Dittos to other sports. Not enough disposable income.

Wow no kidding! I heard the race was getting a poor reputation for fleecing the public at the hotels in the area. It was so bad the Chamber of Commerce was even disturbed about it.

Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte just banned smoking anywhere but in designated areas. I wonder if this was also true of Bristol?

FWIW I quit going to Pirates games when they started tarping over seats to force everyone into lower seats. It used to be great to go into the upper levels, stretch out with food, beer and a good cigar.
But it wasn’t family friendly.
Oh I quit going to Pirates games for LOTS of other, more obvious reasons too....
