Live with a little circus msuic to start.
I think Savage is making a mistake (apparently) attacking Levin by dismissing/downplaying the Cons-ti-tuuuuuu-shun.
Without the framework of the Constitution, this nation disappears
Ted Cruz didn’t hammer sen. fineswine hard enuff on the Constitution in that senate hearing
I listen to Levin in that late afternoon time slot. Sometimes he is good. Too many times, he seems to drone on and sounds like a college lecture.
Now that Savage is in this later time slot, I don’t listen to him much.
Good thing it wasn’t me questioning Feinstein.
When she said “I’m not a sixth grader”, I would probably have snarkily responded, “Oh, were you held back a year?”
Or, “Maybe you should stop acting like one!”
In the talk radio sub forum in the article before this one (dealing w/top 20 talkers) in the comments there is a chart listing ‘cumes’. Poor Mike is well below Levin and Beck (among others). Mike must be beside himself. Maybe they explains his current animus towards Groucho’s mother.
The Constitution is his specialty and I have always found Constitutional law and issues fascinating.. I guess I am a bit prejudice. I like his lectures just as I like very much Savage's "lectures" on his specialties.
IIRC, before Savage changed distributors a few months ago, his late afternoon time slot have around 8 million listeners. He was ranked at between #2 and #3 in many cities.
We’re away. One more 12 hour shift, then a couple of days off. see ya tomorrow!
If so, the chart I referered to is WAY off. Good for Mike. My initial reaction to his new time slot was ‘big mistake’. Am glad to be wrong. I stopped listening to him because signal to noise ratio was too low, but his is an important voice.
Gee I wonder why Savage often starts the third hour by citing the date? Why wouldn’t he do that at the beginning of the show? Golly gee. :)
That was the chart to which I was referring. Thanks for presenting it much more elegantly than I did.
