Demonstrators planned to protest in Brooklyn for a fifth night Friday against the fatal police shooting of a teenage boy, who officers claim had a gun when he was killed.
No major clashes were reported on the fourth night of demonstrations Thursday in East Flatbush, after protests earlier in the week resulted in arrests, looting and minor scuffles with officers.
Carol Gray spoke publicly for the first time Thursday, choking up as she talked about her son, Kimani Gray, who was killed Saturday in a confrontation with police. Police have said the boy had a gun, but his supporters dispute that.
"He's my baby, and he was slaughtered, and I want to know why," she said.

Your “baby” was a criminal and gang member who pointed a loaded weapon at two police officers, who were forced to shoot him to protect themselves and others.
Are there any more questions or can we move on?
Isn’t it interesting that the only time they come out to riot is when the cops shoot somebody. You never see them rioting when a thug with a gun shoots someone.
Perhaps we should just outlaw Black people from owning guns?
The gun murder rate would drop by 50%.
And there would be no reason to riot (oops, sorry, I mean “demonstrate”) in Brooklyn.
Of course, my theory assumes that gun control laws actually work.
Wonder if BO lent his “community agitator” expertise to these clowns? Maybe even his staple gun, so they can post agitation flyers around the “community.”

These shootings always become a holiday for looters and arsonists. A common phenomenon is for the rioters to burn cars in their own neighborhood which makes little sense.
Just tell him they are all drinking 32oz Big Gulps. He'll be right there!
I miss the days when Bensonhurst was all Italian and things like this were taken care of by the neighborhood “association”
One thing the media ignores: Gray thought those “civilians” didn’t have any guns there in NYC.
