DALLAS Dallas police have arrested an accused child rapist who escaped justice for four years and whose case led to a News 8 Investigation exposing how hundreds of illegal immigrants, accused of serious crimes like rape and murder, were deported from Dallas County instead of ever going to trial.
Nearly four years ago to the date, Dallas detectives found DNA evidence that linked Mexican citizen Jose Rico to the brutal rape of two young girls in northeast Dallas.
He was arrested and sat in jail for five months. But in August of 2009, he bonded out. Soon thereafter, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents deported him, sending him back to Mexico on a bus.

When the law do work...Guess Who.........Joe Arpaio’s Deputies Raid Taco Shops in Workplace Immigrant Roundup Number 72.Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office is proud to announce that 11 taco shop employees are off the streets today, thanks to the boys in beige.
This is the 72nd such workplace raid by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office branded as “employer sanctions operations,” “criminal employment operations”, and now, “operations targeting false identifications used to gain employment.”MCSO hit up two locations of America’s Taco Shop, one in Phoenix and one in Tempe.
“[I]ts website says they are the home of the greatest Carne Asada in the Valley,” says the press release from the Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO says 16 employees were found to have used false identities to get work there, and 11 of those people were arrested.
Of those 11 people arrested, seven were turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, while the other four were booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on identity theft and forgery, and likely will get special treatment (and not in a good way) from County Attorney Bill Montgomery.
As our colleague Stephen Lemons has been following, the folks scooped up by MCSO in these workplace raids typically face a much more serious charge for faking a Social Security number for work than college kids do for using a false ID. These immigrants are then held without bond, per Arizona’s Prop 100, which is supposed to be used for immigrants accused of serious felonies.
In response to the Justice Department’s lawsuit against the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Arpaio, alleging unconstitutional policing, lawyers for Arpaio admitted “that MCSO has not arrested employers as no employer has been tied into any violations,” in these workplace raids, although “employer sanctions” used to be the facade for such raids.
Was Rico’s defense attorney, who got him bonded out, ever sanctioned by the court for unprofessional conduct in not providing the court with information about the two rape charges?
If not, the Texas Bar Association should disbar him if he is still practicing.
The victims’ parents should sue the bastard et al.
This is really getting to be a stupid country.
He came back because! Marco Rubio and the Gang of Eight are gonna give him Amnesty
They should be deported AFTER they serve their sentences, whoever made these deals are the real criminals.
That’s what you get when you vote Dhimmicrap.
They should have sent Big Sis into Mexico to retrieve her scumbag....
If they just took them out back and shot them in the head. You would think that more people would be deterred from engaging in their perversions.
No.... it always helpful to read the article.
Rico, 37, is now being held, without bond, in the Dallas County Jail. According to Dallas Police Department spokeswoman Sherri Jeffrey, Det. Vidal Olivarez, who led the initial investigation along with Det. Jerry Williams, got a provisional warrant to pursue Rico in Mexico.
That warrant, granted by the federal Office of International Affairs, allows American agents to pursue a suspect in a foreign country and bring him or her back to the United States for trial. Jeffrey said Olivarez found two informants who helped "pinpoint Rico's physical address, work information and the vehicle he was driving in Mexico."
I'm actually shocked we got this guy in Mexico...they should have left dead him on the border with a F&F gun... stuck up his ass...
America has to import perverts, rapists and other criminals from Mexico because we don’t have enough of our own. /s/
