Posted on 03/17/2013 8:27:01 AM PDT by Bigtigermike
Republican strategist Karl Rove responded to the harsh comments former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had for him at CPAC on Fox News Sunday this morning. Before taking a shot at Palin for not completing her term as governor, he said that Palin was actually in agreement with him on former Senate candidate Todd Akin and that he actually works pro bono for American Crossroads.
Rove continued that Palin endorsed in primaries and got involved in other races around so he didnt understand what the problem was with other people doing the same thing. He defended his work for American Crossroads saying he doesnt take a dime from my work with them and actually pays all of his travel expenses for the group out of his own pocket. Im thought Sarah Palin was about encouraging grassroots activity. Im a volunteeer, said Rove.
Then he took a shot across her bow.
I appreciate her encouragement that I ought to go home to Texas and run for office. I would be enthused if I ran for office to have her support but I dont think, Im a particularly good candidate, a balding fat guy. Second of all, if I did run for office and win I would serve out my term and I wouldnt leave office midterm, said Rove.

I was also duped for many years in regard to Rove’s dedication to the conservative movement.
He has proven to me, however, that he is nothing more than an egotistical, self-serving individual who alters his convictions to suit the time and place.
He no longer is relevant, in my opinion.....I wish FOX would cease providing him with a bully pulpit from which to spew his venom.
I thought Rove was one of those big tent RINOs. If so I see no logic in getting into a pissing context with a former VP candidate.
especially since Karl Rove and the GOP Establishment were all so helpful in helping the Palins figure out to fight millions in democrat dirty operations and frivolous lawsuits and legal costs in Alaska, and in giving Governor Palin breathing room to actually govern
I like to see the man Rove take on a couple million and endless growth in personal debt for fighting frivolus legal suits in doing his JOB and not quit the JOB
Now I like her even more.
Good job establishment dinosaur Repubs...
Rove has once again confirmed that yes, his EGO is that fragile. Sad, petty little privileged man
I hope you’re right, but Hannity will do his best to keep ‘the architect’ out there...along with the Wall St J.
That wouldn't work, I can hear it now; Get off my stage ya big dope! LOL!!!!!
< snort> Hey, that would work for me!
Karl the Moss-Covered, he of the tin ear.
I have become convinced Rove has a problem with women. He bashes Palin, helped undercut Angle in NV, helped take out Katherine Harris in FL, etc. He offers support for male candidates who are just as ‘tea party’ and ‘anti-establishment’.
Rove might as well renounce and disclaim all associstion with Texans. We wash our hands of him.
Rove and his ilk didn’t speak out a SINGLE word of protest when Dem operatives were targeting Palin and her family for all-out FINANCIAL RUIN, nor when it came to the calculated smear campaign against her, nor when the media in its rabid bloodlust to destroy Palin, had the audacity to actually place blame on her for the mass-murders in Tucson.
Rove can go drown in his own vomit. The g’damn scumbag.
He’s out lives his usefulness now he’s just an agent for hire $$$$$.
It is going viral 70,000 views on youtube. When something goes viral it is around 100k a day, this video has been up what around 24 hrs or so...
Good start IMHO...
I think Rove has issues with women.
I imagine that she quit because she was sick and tired of back stabbing, slitherling little maggot republicans, Karl.
A lot of people are sick of you and yours, Karl.
Few people actually have any use or patience for parasitic worms.
Rove does like it when someone talks about his fellow liberals.
