David Keene, President of the National Rifle Association believes that Barack Obama and the Democrats have been shocked by the outpouring of support for the Second Amendment as they have launched the biggest gun control push in Washington and the states that we have seen. Americans are awake to the Obama administration’s tactics and the push of the Socialists in Congress to attack the Second Amendment and they are in for a rude awakening should they seek to continue down this road.
In an interview at CPAC 2013, Mr. Keene said that he believed former President Bill Clinton was correct as he warned Obama late in 2012 to be careful as he considered expanding gun restrictions.
“[Gun control proposals were] one of the main reason for Republicans seizing the House in 1994. Americans care about the Second Amendment and the president is seeing that,” Keene said.
Keene had been to Albany, New York and seen the protests of more than 10,000 people in the rain to the unconstitutional and tyrannical push of New York’s legislature and its governor.
“There are rallies like that all over the country. Members of Congress are receiving lots of letters. It’s clear the narrative that the president tried to construct was wrong. That’s the reason a lot of what [Obama] proposed is being slowed down,” Keene said.
He also spoke about the recent bill passed by the Senate Judiciary Committee which would enact universal background checks and would be a considerable overreach of the Federal government. His concern is that these would be largely ineffective apart from a national gun registry, which is also in Senator Dianne Feinstein’s bill. This would be the first step towards gun confiscation.
Keene not only criticized Obama, but also Senator Feinstein and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Looks like we have to have this fight about twice per generation. As the population at large continues to learn about the positive worth of the gun as a defensive tool, I believe the future trends are on our side.

Don’t feel like we’re clear: keep sending letters and e-mails and phone calls in to your congressmen/senators. They must not think that they will escape the anger that will follow if they take our freedoms away.
All you need to know about this issue is that Eliot Engel D-NY who is a leading advocate of confiscating all guns from law abiding American citizens, wants to arm radical Syrian Islamists with automatic weapons and shoulder held anti aircraft missiles. The Democrats are bizarre and crazy.
The libs are afraid that they will be unarmed when the wild-eyed, bitter, clingers show up on their door step.
The left has no problem with special interest groups raising money and expending political capital to invent rights that do NOT exist in the Constitution (fill in the blank), while at the same time they are shocked that normal Americans who are members of special interest groups, who are NOT low-information voters -like the members of the NRA - support REAL Constitutional rights. Let’s keep them shocked.
They have won on everything else. But they are so brazen. The commies always eventually attack our rights to self protection, both from criminals and their super state.

These are the guys who will be showing up on doorsteps, with a battering ram and flash-bang grenades.
It's more than just anger. For many, it's a terrible, deadly resolve. There are quite a few gun owners out there for whom "from my cold, dead hands" is more than just a slogan. I am gravely concerned that the government will not take this faction seriously, or worse, will cross them on purpose.
Once they are acting outside of the source of their authority, the Constitution, and ultimately God,
they are governing from a position of sheer thuggery,
without legitimacy.
Start putting our elected leaders on the left of that photo.

Since MRAPs are design against bombs, and have a fire suppression system, the logical way to attack them is with a water filled tiger trap. Simple enough in concept, a deep pit with a waterproof cover that can handle up to about 10 tons of weight, but collapses with more than that. An MRAP weighs about 14+ tons. Plunk. The USMC reported that water accidents of this sort were very dangerous for MRAPs due to their high center of gravity.
