I think the bigger question is if this is a work action by union employees. It is pretty easy to slow down the lines. Add two "slow" lines together and you end up with a bunch of passengers missing their planes.
Unreal......I flew to DC last week and returned on Saturday to Mobile and I was through security very quickly both directions. So somebody down there is lying or the airport management is in zer0’s back pocket and is intentionally screwing up the process.
Don’t let them get away with it. Nail Obama with this. It was his choice what to shut down. He didn’t have to make life miserable for Americans.
If he’d just cut waste you wouldn’t even have noticed, but then the lie of big government needing every penny would be well known.
Stories like this should be an obvious winning cause/issue for the Republicans.
This is why most presidents, including the old democrats who, at least, cared for the Constitution, were against the unionization of government employees. Who ever gives them the freebies now gets their loyalties.
This crap happened during the last debt ceiling debate. Government union workers at the DMV (and probably most other places) simply hid out in back rooms, and those at the counter did paperwork - they did cross word puzzles. People had to wait forever to be waited on, because the democrats wanted more money to buy votes. The government union slowed way down to assist them in getting the cash.
The airport hold-ups are a result of the federal budget sequester that went in affect March 1st
Obama is laughing as he makes life miserable for the peasants.
I flew out of Tampa Airport on March 1 and I observed the TSA inspectors “following the letter of the law to the last detail”. All designed to make life miserable for daring to oppose Obama.
I see this backfiring on Obama.
