Arpaio for Chairman of the Republican National Committee!
I’ll stand with the Rand/Cruz/Palin wing of the party. If there is no room for the Tea Party wing and the GOP pushes the Bushes, we’ll just have to formally organize the Tea Party and render the GOP as irrelevant as the Whig party.
I predicted before the 2012 election that if Romney lost the rinos in Washington would become the second half of the democrat party because that would be the only way they could survive the backlash against them.
I wish I was wrong but it sure doesn’t appear that way.
I’ve been very quiet lately because I’m tired of the arguing and back stabbing that got us in this position and I’ve truly been hoping that a CONSERVATIVE party would emerge and give us something to vote for.
So far, I have nobody to cheer for.
I just throw away their mailings and ignore their calls anymore. If I like a candidate I send them money directly.
But that doesn't mean big donors might not take a chance on conservative primary candidates if we field good ones. That has been the strategy of the Club for Growth and the Tea Party and both have had electoral success. Iowa is an anomaly with its caucuses, which distort the whole race for weeks or months. It should be relegated to a minor run o' the mill status just because it is atypical and predicts nothing..
Here’s the only autopsy really needed and one the GOP will never come to grips with. If you wish to win elections as Republicans, don’t run RINOs.
Romney’s candidacy was dead on arrival. Just like McCain’s.
We don’t need an autopsy or a rebranding. We simply need to get back to the basics. God, country, constitution, life, family, liberty, freedom. Forget about pandering to various groups and sub classes. Fight for the constitution, the rule of law, equal treatment under the law, liberty, justice, freedom and opportunity for all.
That’s okay. If they treat folks like they don’t need their vote, they won’t get it. They’re going to market themselves into another disaster.
Yep. 2014 is shaping up to be another massacre for the GOP. A lot of governors are already tacking left because they realize that conservatives will be staying home in 2014.
Govs likely to be targeted by the dem machine like Scott, Corbett, Kasich, Walker, Martinez, etc. are in deep trouble.
Jebocrats...
nicely played, poorly thought out....
We’ll fund our own candidates..
Once, Twice, Three times a Bushie
Since the beginning of the country, the elite has sought to control government by such means. But ere is an iron law of society: monopolies always break down because elites divide into factions, and the leader who can recruit enough none-elite supporters will win elections. The secret is organization. Donors love an organized candidate, and if he is articulate they will gravitate to him. I saw how Ted Cruz won. If Rick Santorum had had half of his ability, he would with his drive have won the nomination.Even regional primaries are not insurmountable obstacles if the candidate can press enough flesh.
Autopsy is an appropriate term, this thing is Dead on Arrival
I will not go to POLITICO...will not,,been there,, done that..
Personally I think the Dems are going to run Michelle,,either as Prezzy or VP candidate. Hillary will be in there somewhere. Michelle is the one to worry about I think. Hillary has way too much baggage.
Odds are, crap like this won’t stop.
Cruz isn’t eligible to run for president.
I hope that somewhere in that report they included the recommendation to STOP having open primaries, which permit the Dems to pack the ballot box for the least favorable GOP candidate!
I also agree with eliminating caucases, which are ridiculous.
While they’re at it, stop the old and tired practice of allowing certain States to hold their primaries earlier than other States, as it presents a false picture of who the favored candidates are in the rest of the country and media coverage of the results influence later primaries.
We’re not getting Hillary. We’re going to get President Michelle Obama.
GW didnt finish silly, there is still that Amnesty thingy to finish, unless Boehner finishes that for them.
as predicted. the GOP leftists have to do this to save “their” personal power base. and republicans who purport to be conservative need to get out of “their” party (for example, “decline to state” is a great place to be in ca) in leftist states. when you get out of their party you deny the GOP leftist leadership their safe seats in leftist states like ca. why are the so called conservative republicans all from leftist states like ca and oh? it makes sense if you look at it from the GOP’s point of view. first target has to be boehner. tough medicine but it has to be done.
oops should read “so called republican leaders all from leftist states like ca.”
