Why bring in the dem talking points regarding race? WV was voting red in Presidential elections prior to Dear Leader in 08. WV was a solid dem state for decades that is slowly turning red. It has had a long history of union activism and pols(Byrd)who brought home the pork. Unionism is waning and the pork is not as abundant. The lower house in the legislature has a slight dem majority this term, that surprised a lot of people that it would be that close, it will take time.

From Magpul's website:

Regarding LEO Sales

March 1st, 2013

Back in 1990, when I was deployed in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a Marine grunt, some companies prioritized me items for my M16 for shipping that I purchased with my own funds. After getting out and forming Magpul in 1999, I established the same priority policy for Military and Law Enforcement, due to the requirements of their profession.

The same policy has been in place for 13 years now and has never been an issue until a few days ago. I do not support the idea that individual police officers should be punished for the actions of their elected officials. That said, I understand the concerns that some have with Law Enforcement officers getting special treatment while at the same time denouncing second amendment rights to another citizen in the same state.

With the fight in Colorado right now we do not have time to implement a new program, so I have suspended all LE sales to ban states until we can implement a system wherein any Law Enforcement Officer buying for duty use will have to promise to uphold their oath to the US Constitution - specifically the second and fourteenth amendments - as it applies to all citizens.

“Is colorado just going to hang out and smoke pot?”

Glenn Beck is discussing now on his show how all of the big city mayors are planning on legalizing marijuana to comply with Obama’s plans to dumb down the populace and apease the sheeple along with control and limits on guns and government schools new “Common Core” teaching programs.

Defenders of Wildlife

SEIU

AFL-CIO

Trial Lawyers Association

State Education Associations (teachers unions)

Don’t own an AR-15 either but will buy 10 or more Magpuls to show support. Besides, they make excellent gifts to friends with ARs.

Let’s just look at it from Magpul’s angle. Texas or WV? Hmmmm? OK or WV, hmmmmm? Fla or WV, hmmmm? Be honest and just pretend you run Magpul. There is no real advantage to move to WV.

There are a multitude of factors that would go into all the decisions that would lead to the locaton(s). States have positives and negatives, I would SWAG and say that Magpul is more likely to go to a state in their area(likely WY), as I said in my prior post, WV has a better chance with Baretta as they are based in MD.

The magazine ban was icing on the cake. The real prize is the “universal” background check, which Democrats in other states can point to and pimp for the same.

In effect, law-abiding Colorado residents must now get the government’s OK to buy a gun. Wait until there’s a State of Emergency in the state and the Gov.- or the president - shuts down the computers “for public safety”. Then all those latte-sippers in Denver and Boulder who find out the authorities can’t protect them will find they are out of luck.

Yeah, UT is expecting a good turnout for the Orange & White spring game this year, due to excitement over the new coach. He’s got to be better than the last one.

Things could go either way for UT football this year, but it looks to be another building year. The crazy thing is that if we’d had *any* kind of reasonable defense last year, it would have been a good season. The defense will surely improve this year (how could it get worse?!?), but we’re losing a lot of talent on offense to make up for it.

Either way, it’ll take a miracle for UT to beat Bama for the next few years...

I have a lot of family in the Decatur area, so at least I didn’t get any grief from the Auburn fans last year. :) We have an annual Memorial Day family reunion in Decatur, eating at Big Bob Gibson’s, going to the balloon festival at Point Mallard, and a get-together at the river.
