He’s from Kentucky. What is he sticking his nose in this for? His wacky father lives in Texas; that’s his connection?

He should go to Texas for an extended stay and mix in with the good folks there. Maybe he’ll get mocked as a gringo by the priest at Mass, as happened last sunday. maybe he’ll speak with someone who can’t get a particular job for being unable to speak Spanish, or shoved around on line in the store by someone from another country who won’t look him in the eye, or forced to wait in the parking lot drive while the “I am special” family unapologetically hangs around talking to the driver of the car in front of him and his family.

Maybe he’d decide against giving these people the green light to go viral with this behavior.

Rand Paul was born in Penn. moved to Lake Jackson Texas when he was 5 years old. After graduation from highschool he attended Baylor University. I think he knows Texas pretty well.

I didn't know much about Rand, though I did understand that his dad, Ron, once he didn't get the 2012 nomination, stayed on the reservation (didn't run third party to draw votes away from the Republican at the top) as a "gift" to the GOP to promote his son, Rand, who didn't appear as radical as he is.

I now realize that father and son are pretty much on the same page and I daresay that he'd not have come in at the top at CPAC, had he said he's on the same page to give us "comprehensive immigration reform!"

These are weasel words, we already have a reform plan, it's called Simpson/Mazzoli, a law put into place the last time we granted blanket Amnesty to illegal aliens.

Enforce Simpson/Mazzoli NOW, Rand, if you are honest about desiring to correct the situation we have in the U.S.
