A photo involving an Omaha City Council member is creating a lot of controversy. In the photo, Chris Jerram holds a photo depicting his fellow council member, Jean Stothert, on a stripper pole.
Jerram apologized and said he made a mistake.
“It's disgusting, and it's demeaning, and it's not only demeaning to me, but to all women," said Stothert on Monday. "You know, to be depicted of the way I was on that t-shirt should not happen."
The shirt reads "Jean, quit stripping us of our tax dollars" -- and it has a woman and stripper pole next to it.

"Obviously I didn’t make it or wear it," said Jerram, a Democrat, "But made an error in judgment by allowing the photograph to be taken."
Stothert says she has been the victim of several anonymous and vulgar attacks over the past week through mailers and Twitter.
Stothert said seeing fellow council member Jerram smiling with the shirt was a surprise.
"It was offensive and over-the-top political satire and I feel bad about it," said Jerram. "I apologized to Jean and the women of our community."
Jerram says he hopes he's judged by his work as a public servant as a whole and not by this mistake.
“All I can say is I'm really disappointed in him for doing it, and it was very inappropriate, and I do believe he owes me a public apology,” Stothert said.
Jerram says he will offer the apology face-to-face on Tuesday -- when the two get together for the city council meeting.

Jerram, a Democrat. He now has a bright political career. This will take him to the next level. Once at the next level he can molest a child in a bathroom and advance even further.
Another Democrat smiles and walks away.

I don’t understand the controversy on FR. If she had gotten drunk and Jerram had raped her, FReepers would be lined up to attack her and defend him.
No. Only Republicans resign in shame. Democrats have no shame, just like the moochers who vote for them.

Jean is a conservative that doesn't deserve this crap.
If I were her husband, I'd be pissed off and would be tracking down this Jerram turd-ball, and find out who designed this shirt and ask why he had a big smile on his face when a cop/fireman gave it to him!
