Someone’s about to get paid a settlement and the others are about to get pie in their face and suspended or fired so not all was in vain...: )
Do you think that a state employee will actually be fired?
Never.....neither will his/her supervisor.
There is no settlement. No pie in face, no suspension or firing. Actually, the officers involved will be commended and accommodated, for forward thinking coummunity service. And, then move on, to a real travesty of tragedy. Rinse and repeat.
Politely ask, "May I see your search warrant?", followed by "What am I being charged with?", followed by "Please give me your badge numbers so that my lawyer can sue you into oblivion and so you can be charged with using your government position to violate my civil rights."
Not so fast.
Family protective services will have their revenge.
They will make stuff up and co-workers will back the lie.
