President Obamas car came to a halt in Israel yesterday, reportedly because it had been filled with the wrong kind of gas.
This is a metaphor for his Middle East policyhes been running on the wrong kind of fuel, said Heritage expert James Phillips.
The Obama Doctrinethe Presidents approach to foreign policyhas been one of talks, sanctions, and seeking international agreements. But his tactics have led to some sorry outcomes. As Heritages Luke Coffey put it, After almost four years of his presidency, not only is Americas standing in the world weaker; the world is also more dangerous than before.
In sum, the Obama Doctrine is a policy of leading from behind in global affairs, presiding over dangerous defense cuts that leave America weaker in a more dangerous world, and placing hope above reality when dealing with countries like Russia, Iran, China, and North Koreaeach presenting unique threats to Americas interests.
In his first visit to Israel as President, Obama is attempting to smooth things over with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after some tense years. Obama said yesterday, The United States is proud to stand with you as your strongest ally and your greatest friend. But differences remain between Obama and Netanyahu on the best way to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapona threat to both Israel and the United States.
Netanyahu has reinforced Israels resolve to protect itself if threatened, and the U.S. should stand firmly behind him.
Today, Obama will take his case to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and directly to the Israeli people with a speech in Jerusalem.
For todays meeting, Phillips recommends:
During his visit to Ramallah, President Obama should encourage Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to resume direct negotiations with Israel and disabuse him of the notion that he can sit back and wait for Washington to deliver Israeli concessions.
Obama should also warn Abbas against forming a government of national unity with Hamas, which is implacably committed to Israels destruction. Such a union would explode any chances for peace for the foreseeable future.
Tomorrow, Obama will visit Jordan, which is feeling the effects of the crisis in Syria. Phillips explains that Jordans security is also threatened by Islamist extremists returning from fighting in Syria who have been emboldened by the growing influence there of al-Qaeda and other Islamist militants.
Britain and France tried to appease Hitler, unsuccessfully, and broke up Czechoslovakia in the process, Hitler marched into the rest of Czechoslovakia nine months later, and into Poland, the Obama Doctrine will probably lead to the annihilation of Israel, and it will probably give rise to a new question: "Who lost Israel?"
Now, after the disastrous Lady Clinton's stunted stint as Secretary of State, a new, and even greater (if possible) nitwit has taken over our atrocious foreign policy: a ketchup-faced gigolo.
I don’t there is an Obama Doctrine on the Middle East. If there is...it’d take a four hundred page document to explain the brief and imaginary details to it.
How do you destroy someone? You gain their trust, learn their secrets, then give them to his enemies. Obama’s visit to Israel is simply political posturing to appease the masses in the US and try to convince them that he’s not the Anti-Christ. If he’s read the bible he should know Satan approached Jesus 3 times while he was in the wilderness and probably stood right next to him on the same ground. It’s not like he’s a vampire who’s skin starts burning when a cross is pressed to it when he stands on holy ground. Maybe he thinks his supporters think that way and that his appearance in a holy land with holy ground will convince them he’s not the AC. You know how much fantasy bs they love like the Twighlight and the Underworld series. I think dome of them actually believe vampires exist (the type that fly and have superpowers, not the documented people with a medical condition that crave blood and drink it)...lol
Did the car really break down?
Probably water in the gas from all that ethanol.
latest word is it’s just a mechanical problem ~
Take anything that Christians and God’s people hold as right and good, and oppose it and destroy it.
