He doesn’t stand a chance in 2016, in my honest opinion. The field will be much more conservative than the 2012 field, with people whose social conservative credentials are as solid as his, which takes out his USP.
Can we not think outside the box with someone new, or are we destined to lose again? We desperately need black/hispanic candidates to split the racial vote. It is about winning, not about running the most honorable candidate.

He seems like a decent guy, but I don't think he's cut out for politics and has spent far too much time in government and inside the Beltway for my liking.
Santorum is simply not likeable and not sellable. He’s not a good conservative except on social issues, and he’s not the only Republican in America who is right on social issues. Think outside the box for a change.

I want someone that follows the U.S. Constitution. I want someone that thinks that the U.S. is a separate sovereign nation, and not ‘just one of many among the U.N.’ I want someone that will tell the UN to pack it up, and move to Europe or Ghana. I want someone that knows what the real military is all about. I want someone that knows what an earned, not given, dollar in the pocket does for John Q./Jane Q. Public.

Career politicians, (those that are excellent examples for term limits), still believe in “The Rite of Ascension”. We need to cut that cord, permanently.
We need to revert to ‘serving citizens who go back to the farm’, when they are finished. We need to rid the Senate and Congress of the Socialists and Communists who are there now, and their underlings and staff.
We need to return the control of Senators to the governors of the States.

I, with you, do not think Santorium could stand up to Hillary or even Joe Biden in a debate. He has trouble getting his message across and I think that if he could not finish the primary the last go around showed weakness that we do not need in our oval office.

I voted for him in 2012 (actually preferred Newt), and now think had he been our candidate in 2012, he would have been blown out far worse than Romney.
I'm going to wait to see if we as a country can withstand the thrashing of the current administration, and wait to judge the 2016 primaries when (and if) they come along.

I’m just saying the polls show her as the favorite. Hopefully America is not that stupid but they elected Obama twice. Whoever the dem candidate is, we’ve have a hard time beating him/her. We can’t compete with the party of free stuff.

I love listening to all the complaining half-hearted conservatives. And it’s not until you stop eating up your young will you even come close to winning an election. I suspect a bit of weeding needs to be done up in here, and it’s long overdue.
Unless everyone gets busy and closes the primaries in the states that gave us Dole, McCain and Romney then all of this babbling about who's conservative enough won't matter because we'll end up with who ever the Beltway Dem-a-lites pick for us.
