OKLAHOMA CITY -- The federal government has informed Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak that it intends to take over swaths of insurance regulation in the state to ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act – commonly known as “Obamacare.”

The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is notifying insurers in Oklahoma that it will handle enforcement of the ACA. In a March 15 letter to Doak, the agency notified the Insurance Department of its responsibility to enforce the ACA in Oklahoma because the state has declined to do so. Should Oklahoma enact“market reform requirements,” according to the letter, the federal government will consider transitioning regulations to the state.

No way. This article states that Oklahoma has so much money from the Fed that they could NEVER survive on their own. I was surprised by that. I thought only Alaska took a big amount of money from the federal government.

Try it Feds. You want a war between the Fedgov and States, just keep on pushing. With all the States fighting against Fedgov gun laws, how can they not see there is a storm coming?

Oops, forgot, our new Monarch thinks he has all the power. Boy, is he in for rude awakening. The writing is showing up in bold letters on the Wall of Freedom.

This country is on the verge. Call it Civil War II or a Revolutionary War II or States Rights rebellion, but we are quickly heading that way, one way or another - guarantee it.

And no, the military will not attack us. Some of those leaders will be endangered. They would be wise to uphold their Oaths while they still have the opportunity.

While I don't advise nor approve of such, remember how a couple of guys held DC hostage with their murderous shootings for weeks. Lessons are learned by those who pay attention. Think asymmetrical.

The form letter does not bode well for us other states that are attempting to stay independent and exercise our 10th Amendment rights.

It is unbelievable. These federal handlers are used to being told what to do, to telling others what to do, and having them do it, no questions asked. That and general ignorance of our rights (and historical marches to Socialism/Communism) are ripping up America.

The health insurance bank accounts come to mind as a way to get them by the short hair.

Administered by no other than Mayor "nanny-in-law" Bloomberg.

Those friends would have to be lawyers, because that’s where it’s being fought.

A stern letter from the feds will be all that’s needed to keep the states in line. Don’t think the feds won’t march into every state’s department and start arresting those that won’t cooperate. We all know tyrannical governments don’t tolerate competition, or disobedience.

The feds won’t do their job to rid of us of illegal aliens and here they are sticking their snouts in the States’ business. Hope OK tells them to pound sand

“The feds won’t do their job to rid of us of illegal aliens and here they are sticking their snouts in the States’ business.”

They won’t perform defense as they are required to do, and they do what they should not do. In the first case they are worthless, in the second case they are an enemy.

Weird how the GOP never made more of that and how the nedia hushed it up.Weird how the GOP never made more of that and how the nedia hushed it up.

The GOP is compromised. The Dems have whatever dirt there is on every one of them who has any. Silence is bought with carrots or sticks, but the GOP has managed to cave on virtually every major issue. Even Reid recognized a vote on gun control was more dangerous to the Dem's future and shut Feinstein down (for now) rather than have to face the roll call in the next election. They can't steal all of them, and they remember what the issue did to them last time.

The media are the soft and pretty face of the enemy. It lies without fail, propagandizes the public through "entertainment" and "news", and it omits anything which might reflect badly on the regime, if it doesn't just distract with meaningless sports clashes and endless fluff.

The Governor of that state can call out the guard if he has to to quell that bull**** right now. The feds better bring an army if they try that crap.

understand the sentiment but slavery is too attached to this flag.

Fairness and accuracy would not have had it so, but it is that way in the public psyche.

better to ressurect the stars in a circle pattern on the blue, or the gadsden with stars in a circle.

I agree, though my ancestors fought under the battle flag last time.

I like the Gadsen with an arc of stars around the central device, personally, and think it would not only get the point across and be a banner we can all rally around, but be such without the sociocultural baggage the battle flag has.
