Generally, when someone says “Catholics vote Democratic.” or similar without a qualifier of “a majority of” or “some” or whatever, I take them at their word. Considering the hostility of a large majority of Protestants towards Catholics, I consider it wise to do so.

Hmmm, hard to believe anyone would think ALL Catholics voter in the manner described and would just take a stranger's word on it.

Similar situation. You statement is not true. At least not here at FR nor in my experience.
