Thinking Garlits invented the rear engine concept after

an bad explosion cost him some toes.

Remember one car he had with just one strut for the rear wing.

I lived with Bruce (Garlit’s the guy Garlits hired to replace his fired designer) in Houston, and never knew that he worked on cars until one day when he was moving back to Trona California, he switched an engine from one Cadillac to his, in a single afternoon and drove to California the next morning which I thought was magic.

I didn’t know anything about cars, or care, and had no idea who Garlitts was when I first went to his house, frankly I never paid any attention to the car stuff and still don’t, but he did have a cool workshop at his home, and the rear engine car was there.

As far as made for the SyFy channel movies go, the zenith (or nadir, depending on your viewpoint) was when Talia upon being told the creature is half anaconda and half piranha blurts out “You mean a Piranhaconda???”

Pike gives her the look and says “I can’t believe you just said that.”

Thoe movies are actually kind of funny because they don’t really take them too seriously themselves.

"Tonight its Chupacabra vs the Alamo staring Erik Estrada."

I liked the scene where Estrada caught the chupacabra actually sucking a goat...

And, directly under a golfer, who dropped 18 feet into the hole. He was forced to take a drop.
