Few admit it because that’s the deal. You don’t call yourself “communist,” you call yourself the German Democratic Republic instead, three things you decidedly are NOT. Or, “progressive,” because of course there won’t be any (progress) once you are in charge. Or, “bolshevik,” the Russian word for “majority” because you are a hyper-minority.
