Stand With Arizona
Joe Wilson is right....again.
Remember Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) and his outburst at Obama's 2010 State of the Union address? Here's a refresher:
Obama said his healthcare plan would not cover illegal aliens - twice. Wilson shouted "You lie!" to the outrage of many, and for which he was later censured by Pelosi & Co. Democrats said it was ridiculous to suggest that illegal aliens would EVER be able to receive Obama Care benefits.
Wilson was right, of course, as SWA pointed out and way back in August 2011, when we revealed how $8.5 million in HHS grants were going to provide "community health centers" for illegal alien migrant workers.
And last night Joe Wilson was proven right yet again - but on a far more massive scale.
Senate Democrats defeated a Budget amendment to deny access to Medicaid and Obama Care to the millions of illegal aliens granted "temporary legal status" under any future "comprehensive immigration reform" legislation.
The amendment, which failed 43 to 56, was offered by Senate Budget ranking member Jeff Sessions, R-Ala.
If a person is in our country illegally and they are rewarded with some legal status, do they then immediately become eligible for federal health care benefits, Sessions said. Its a different situation than someone who came legally and has got legal status.Sessions' Amendment also exposed potential divisions in the so-called "Gang of Eight" group working in secret to devise an amnesty plan to shove down our throats. After the vote Sessions said in a release that the failure to adopt his amendment will dramatically accelerate the insolvency of our entitlement programs and is unfair to American workers and taxpayers.
All Democrats including "gang" members Dick Durbin of Illinois, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Charles E. Schumer of New York and Michael Bennet of Colorado opposed the amendment. They were joined by Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. All other Republicans including immigration negotiators Marco Rubio of Florida, John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Jeff Flake of Arizona supported the amendment.
Sessions contended the vote bodes poorly for the state of negotiations. The result of todays vote places immigration reform in jeopardy, Sessions said.
Amen. When the American people find out about this treacherous vote, it better damn well torpedo the push for massive illegal alien amnesty, or there will be hell to pay come 2014.
Oh, and Democrats now owe Joe Wilson one big apology.
If YOU stand with Gov. Brewer and Sheriff Joe and demand the border secured, the rule of law upheld and amnesty for illegals stopped, then put your name where your heart is, and join the 170,000 who have signed the petition...
I’ll bet the infamous CBO didn’t take this into consideration when they were determining their phony balony costs of Barry’s ObamaCare. America is finished.
The Marxists are using illegal aliens (among other things) to undermine America.
The only good thing i can see about this is that this madness will accelerate our mad dash to bankruptcy. That is a good thing. Our system will collapse that much quicker. The sooner it collapses, the sooner the do’ers can put it back together CORRECTLY. It will be painful, extremely painful, but it is a necessary evil.

“Lawful Permanent residents” - The prescription with BAD side effects!
http://towncriernews.blogspot.com/2013/03/lawful-permanent-residents-prescription.html
How DARE the Colorado dhimmiecrat legislature and governor chickenchoker require that the sainted illegals pay in-state tuition to go to college. There should be NO tuition charged to them! Better yet, they should be PAID to go to college.
This is all according to the plan that the dhims have been implementing since at least the “great society” programs of lyndon the terrible back in the 1960’s - create a permanent underclass that sucks off the government teat and votes reliably for them, heavily tax the makers, give it to the takers, destroy all semblance of morality, and take away “the guns” so we can’t fight back effectively.
And down the road to destruction we go...
Yes, that was Obummer's plan all along. It is right on schedule.
PING
Thanks montag813.
And now even low-info voters know 1) what Obamacare is for, 2) why it will cost them so much, and 3) why they won’t get any health care under the plan.
First, Thomas Jefferson had clarified, in terms of the 10th Amendment nonetheless, that the states have never delegated to Congress via the Constitution the specific power to regulate immigration.
"4. _Resolved_, That alien friends are under the jurisdiction and protection of the laws of the State wherein they are: that no power over them has been delegated to the United States, nor prohibited to the individual States, distinct from their power over citizens. And it being true as a general principle, and one of the amendments to the Constitution having also declared, that "the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people," the act of the Congress of the United States, passed on the -- day of July, 1798, intituled "An Act concerning aliens," which assumes powers over alien friends, not delegated by the Constitution, is not law, but is altogether void, and of no force (emphasis added)." --Thomas Jefferson, Draft of the Kentucky Resolutions - October 1798.
Note that Vice President Jefferson's stance on the unique, 10th Amendment protected powers of the states to regulate immigration undoubtedly helped him to be elected the 3rd president of the USA.
Regarding "government" healthcare, when activist justices gave the green light to Obamacare in 2012, they wrongly ignored the following. They ignored that Supreme Court had officially previously clarified that not only is public healthcare likewise a unique state power issue, but that Congress is prohibited from laying taxes in the name of state power issues.
"State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress (emphases added)." --Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.Justice Barbour later expanded the wording of the Gibbons excerpt concerning Congress having no delegated power to regulate healthcare issues."Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." --Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"Inspection laws, quarantine laws, health laws of every description (emphasis added), as well as laws for regulating the internal commerce of a state and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c., are component parts of this mass." --Justice Barbour, New York v. Miln, 1837.
And a few decades before Constitution-ignoring socialist FDR nuked the Supreme Court with activist justices, state power-respecting justices had again clarified that Congress has no business sticking its big nose into the intrastate medical practice.
Direct control of medical practice in the states is obviously beyond the power of Congress. Linder v. United States, 1925.
Patriots evidently do not understand that Article V, the Constitution's amendent procedure, requires Congress to first petition the states for an amendment to the Constitution which, if the states chose to ratify the proposed amendment, would have granted Congress the specific power that it needed to establish Obamacare. But corrupt Congress wrongly ignored Article V as evidenced by Senate Democrats voting on the bill referenced by this thread.
And since patriots cannot rely on Obama guard dog Fx News to get the word out about Congress's limited powers in time for the 2014 elections, its up to patriots first get themselves up to speed on the federal government's limited powers and then get the word out.
I don't mean to point the finger at you because many people including you and the author of this article are using a faulty premise.
The faulty premise is that the illegal is not recieving heathcare now but will be.
Poor people, people with out insurance, including illegals, cannot be turned away by a public hospital. Even private hospitals cannot turn them away without stabilizing them before turning them away. Its the law and it has been the law for a long time.
Poor people, illegals, people without insurance get the most expensive and lowest quality medical care. And very few recieve preventative care. One exception is prenatal. Poor, illegal, pregnant women are given free prenatal care because the cost of free care to a sickly baby is much, much higher than prenatal care.
The hospital recoops their money by charging the insurance companies a higher price, which raises the cost the insurance company charges those with insurance. You have to pay part of it with your higher property tax. And the feds kick in money also.
Not only does the hospital recoop their money, they charge the full "chargemaster price" for this charitable health care.
So you see, they are already recieving free heathcare. It will be cheaper to give them free insurance than it is to give them the type of free healthcare they are now recieving.
Please BUMP this insanity to Front Page News.
ICE union head on immigration reform: Zero confidence any promises of future enforcement will be fulfilled
That article mentions Sen. Durbin. I know a conservative Republican, Chad Koppie, who will run in the IL 2014 U.S. Senate race. Chad says that Congress should increase fines and prison sentences, for employers who hire illegal aliens. That would usaully deter the hiring of illegals, causing many of them to leave the U.S. Chad is also pro-tax cuts, pro-spending cuts, and pro-life. Do you know of any tea party groups who would like for Chad to give a speech, in April? If so, please email the details to me.
