Interesting. I wonder if the Left will accept that logic in other areas:
I'm white and I've never lynched a black man, so it must not be a problem.
I'm male and I've never beaten my wife, so it must not be an issue.
I'm straight, and I've never committed rape, so it must be something we can laugh off.
I'll hold my breath as we wait for them to hold themselves to their own standards.

Another reply from me, seriously. The same arguments they use; taxes, inheritance, insurance can be used for polygemy.
I remember reading that in Utah there is a welfare problem with secondary wives and children getting welfare, claiming that there is no man in the house (which legally is true). As a taxpayer, that kinda pis**s me off.
