Quarter-billion new rounds also slated for DHS
WND recently reported that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has purchased well over a billion rounds of ammunition over the past year.
The magnitude of the federal governments ammunition buildup has been making headlines over the last few weeks, as members of the military, police departments and consumers are finding shelves bare when they want to buy ammunition.
Alarms over the situation have developed just as the Obama administration is pushing hard on its agenda of gun control.
But the full impact may not yet have developed, as WND has uncovered plans by the FBI to spend up to $100 million over five years on millions of rounds for its machine guns and pistols.

Color me surprised....
I’m just going to call the white house and ask when are they planning on rounding up the patriots in this country? We all know what’s coming so lets tell them we are ready to start.
I mean seriously... wtf-ingf?
$2,000,000.00 a year for the next five years. Think about that for a minute.
They already know we’re ready.
Wake up America!
All this crap wouldn’t be happening if J Edgar Hoover was head of the FBI.
He’d have seen that BO was exposed for what he is before the election of 2012.
Are commercial entities selling/supply the ammo for the gov’t to kill us with?
You forgot something...
Congress allegedly controls the purse strings. They should be able to put a stop to this, unless they are complicit.
When are some of these ammo manufacturers going to draw a line on these inflated purchases by federal agencies, and reserve a certain percentage of their product for the gun owning public?
It appears to me (and I hope to many ammo makers) that the feds’ real intent is to dry up supplies so that the public has no ammo.
2.) Starving the market of ammo.
3.) Hi-visibility psyops to demoralize their "enemies".
Or if any of these are publicly traded, the “elites” have invested heavily in the stocks.
daughter in Bahamas which is hardly mentioned, spending on crap and now this and how about the white house, our house being open seeing as we pay for this not them who think they;re a royal family.
What is next, have them out on the balcony waving to the zombie masses
No, I haven’t.
I have a couple of rounds on hand and can reload those if necessary.
I think you answered your own question.
There is enough money for Millions of bullets, and expensive vacations every month for the POTUS and FLOTUS separately, but not enough to guard the southern border? WTF? (Winning The Future)?
Check yer maths.
2 mil X 5 yrs = only 10 mil
>$100 million over five years on millions of rounds
Must be WND math because even if they bought 1 billion rounds for 100 million bucks that would be 10 dollars per round. So, unless these are silver bullets, $10.00 per round is beyond belief.
The FBI has belt-fed machine guns? Who knew?
DING, DING, DING, We have a winner!
“”I have a couple of rounds on hand and can reload those if necessary.””
SHHHH!! Maybe they don’t know about this! Let’s not tell them.
Sometimes royal families don’t end up too good.
I thought about it for one second:
Your math is wrong.
The gun and ammo industry shouldn’t let the government corner the market on ammunition. They should only give the government what the people don’t need. It would be different if this were a time of war but it’s not. Sell to the people first, not the government.
missing a zero
FBI warning of possible idicators of suspicious behavior by potential terrorists:
What should I consider suspicious?
People or groups who:
■Provide identification that is inconsistent or suspect or demand identity privacy
■Insist on paying with cash or uses credit card(s) in different names
■Make suspicious comments regarding anti-US, radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings that suggests or appear to endorse the use of violence in support of a cause
■Demonstrate interest in uses that do not seem consistent with the intended use of the item being purchased
■Possess little knowledge of intended purchase items
■Make bulk purchases of items to include:
-Weatherproofed ammunition or match containers
-Meals Ready to Eat
-Night Vision Devices; night flashlights; gas masks
-High capacity magazines
-Bi-pods or tri-pods for rifles
Now if they’d just shoot and kill some bad guys it might justify the cost.
If J. Edgar were the head of the F.B.I. Obama wouldn’t have gotten through the primaries with Hillary. Actually, neither would she.
for crowd control
You know... zero said he was going to accomplish it under the table... Would buying up all the ammo effectively disarm the people?
Hed have seen that BO was exposed for what he is before the election of 2012.
J E Hoover would have exposed him before he ran for state office in Illinois
The DHS exists because of 19 virtually unarmed hijackers.
So I ask, why do they need 2 billion rounds of ammo? who do they intend to murder?
Dangit, I meant 2008.
Thinking back here... trying to come up with a terrorist act ever committed with a waterproof match container...
The hell of it is that we the public are the ones paying for this outrage. Any odds on how many Republicans remind Democrats about this when they start bleating about needing more 'revenue?'
...the underwear bomber on the other hand... Maybe we should start suspecting males buying skivvies.
me thinks they are really spending the money on something else and this is a black book accounting trick.
Ditto to what you said.
All of the above.
got that right.
His wife and her family live in our house, which we pay for and now they ban us from our house!!!!!!!
WTH is going on with our so called party, get out there, protest this and sleep over ight if need be.
Right now her kids are probably in the BAHAMAS still, her family from Chicago are running baout in our house, eating our food, good food too, drinking our drinks, using our beds, using our money for their lifestyle and hardly a frgging peep about it
