FBI plans to spend $100 million on ammo
WND ^ | March 27, 2013 | Steve Peacock

Quarter-billion new rounds also slated for DHS

WND recently reported that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has purchased well over a billion rounds of ammunition over the past year.

The magnitude of the federal government’s ammunition buildup has been making headlines over the last few weeks, as members of the military, police departments and consumers are finding shelves bare when they want to buy ammunition.

Alarms over the situation have developed just as the Obama administration is pushing hard on its agenda of gun control.

But the full impact may not yet have developed, as WND has uncovered plans by the FBI to spend up to $100 million over five years on millions of rounds for its machine guns and pistols.

He’d have seen that BO was exposed for what he is before the election of 2012.

J E Hoover would have exposed him before he ran for state office in Illinois

The DHS exists because of 19 virtually unarmed hijackers.
So I ask, why do they need 2 billion rounds of ammo? who do they intend to murder?

"When are some of these ammo manufacturers going to draw a line on these inflated purchases by federal agencies, and reserve a certain percentage of their product for the gun owning public?"

The hell of it is that we the public are the ones paying for this outrage. Any odds on how many Republicans remind Democrats about this when they start bleating about needing more 'revenue?'

How about they cut the government off all together.

1.) Gearing up against US citizens.
2.) Starving the market of ammo.

3.) Hi-visibility psyops to demoralize their “enemies”...”

Yes, but I suspect it is even more than that. He is planning on pulling a “Hugo Chevez” and will never leave office. He is arming up to ensure he can take on any and all challenges to his coup. The question is, WHEN he pulls such a stunt, how many of these feds are going to back him.?

Time to put the feds on allocation. Restock the retail stores first, then send "excess" production to the feds. They are just stockpiling it. Beat them at their silly game. Firearms manufacturers frequently use an allocation method when demand far exceeds supply. There is no justification to allow the feds to be the sole sink for all ammo production. There is no urgent need for the feds to take that ammo. The contracts are multi year. Stand in line.

Keep in mind that he's been replacing flag officers with more politically acceptable types. There won't be any response to his coup from the military, unless a small group with very strong motivation decides to pull a decapitation strike.

Beyond that, all I'm hearing is lots of grumpy gun owners declaring they'll stand their ground ferociously. The sad thing is that I'm not hearing about any coordination, so these solo patriots will be picked off easily.

Then again, he could declare a "cyber emergency" and pull the plug on the Internet, leaving us all incommunicado.

Yeah, I'm starting to think he really could pull off a coup and get away with it.

WND recently reported that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has purchased well over a billion rounds of ammunition over the past year.

And since Wingnut Daily is a bunch of incompetent morons and liars, they didn't report the actual number of rounds that DHS bought last year, which was only 148 million.
