US to revise cigarette warning labels

The U.S. government won't appeal a court decision blocking it from requiring tobacco companies to put large graphic health warnings on cigarette packages.

In a letter obtained by The Associated Press, Attorney General Eric Holder says the Food and Drug Administration will go back to the drawing board and propose new labels.

Yes I’d wager the last thing they want is people to actually stop buying cigarettes (they need the cash!!). Otherwise why go after e-cigs? If they ban e-cigs they will be complicit in deaths.

They should tax at $30 per pack and increase the black market.

At least we could smoke and drink on the same stool during the last depression.
