CURTIS BOSTIC ENDORSEMENT

The Democrats’ No 1 goal is to retake the House next year. They don’t care about guns, abortion, taxing “the rich” – they just want the House. While they’re busy micro-targeting congressional districts, Mark Sanford has just given them an expected gift!

Republicans could nominate Hitler and win South Carolina’s 1st district, but if Sanford’s the nominee, Republicans will either lose or win at a cost of $50 million that could be better spent elsewhere.

Already polls show Sanford tied with, or losing to, the Democratic nominee. MSNBC has barely been able to conceal its glee. This is one they hadn’t even counted on!

Win or lose, MSNBC will be able to gloat nonstop about Republicans being a Party of the serial adulterers. So it’s win-win-win for the Democrats.

There’s no “win” for the GOP with Sanford, except that Mark Sanford is bored and no one will hire him. So the country has to take one for the team - Team Sanford!

The country is important, but Mark Sanford thinks his redemption is more important.

You can’t have a Party that allows preening narcissists and scam artists to hurt the Party just so they get time in the spotlight. “Well, it was for a good cause, it was for ME.”

If Republicans lose the House, Obama will have two years to do whatever he wants. That didn’t work out so well last time we tried it.

Meanwhile, Sanford’s runoff opponent, Curtis Bostic, is a grassroots, fiscal conservative, former marine and practicing lawyer, who would be a dream candidate for the GOP in any congressional district. He, too, has found his soulmate. In fact, he’s married to her. When Curtis Bostic tells his staff he's hiking the Appalachian Trail, he's hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Any idiot who votes for Sanford in the runoff is working for the Obama administration.

Vote for Curtis Bostic in the GOP runoff election on April 2.

Your friend, Ann Coulter

Why on earth would Republicans in this district even consider voting for Mark Sanford? Seriously?

Really, you would think they’d be thoroughly disgusted with that jerk.

Sad. I was a big Sanford supporter before he went hiking the Appalachain Trail. I hope he finds redemption, but the US House isn’t the place for it. He has to earn trust again.

We are down with stupid!

Seriously, I cannot believe how many people I've talked to who are going to vote for Sanford next week. Many of them are so-called “values voters” who were calling for Sanford's head back in his Appalachian Trail days.

Low-information voters aren't just Democrats.

Wasn't even going to vote in this one but Bostic is the best choice. Don't like Grooms’ history. I plan on being there Tuesday.

It would be swell if Curtis could get Sara’s backing. Maybe they are saving that for the real race.

Sanford garnered a lot of attaboys in his fights with the legislature. But lost every single one of them with his trail stunt.

The 1st CD is a coastal district in the Carolina Low Country. Beautiful place!

Is this an open election? Can the Dems pile in and make Sanford the winner.

Apparently he doesn’t have to.

Some info here:

He lives within a mile of the line of the district between the 1st and 6th near Ravenal.
