The executive order will direct the commission to produce a report for Obama within six months of its first public meeting, principal deputy press secretary Josh Earnest said. The panel will be tasked with considering "a variety of ways to shorten lines and promote the efficient conduct of elections" and its findings will be "intended to serve as a best practices guide for state and local election officials to improve voters' experience at the polls under their existing election laws."

I’m thinking either an RFID under the skin or registering every American to vote by mandate?
If it was to require a driving license I may not have had chance to take part in voting. I have no car, so no needed license. I feel glad to have make my vote count. -- Rojee Kitsap March 18, 2013 at 7:28 pm
I must still say I will still stay and look forward at receiving green card soon. -- Rojee Kitsap March 28, 2013 at 10:22
One cannot help but wonder how many other Rojees have added their votes in our elections while waiting for a Green card.
Well, at least Rojee did not have to wait in line.
a/k/a vote liberal Democrat...???
After Obama declares himself “President for Life,” we'll have the most efficient elections in the world.
The panel will find the obvious solution to make all elections more efficient:
Make him “Dictator For Life” and let him select the people for all the other offices.
The term of office will be shortened as soon as the edict is published.
re: “Obama to sign order creating election reform commission”
Translation: Obama orders for new ways to make it easier for Democrats to commit fraud in elections and steal elections.
Heh, I wasn’t copying, honest.
Dang slow satellite internet.
Doing away with elections as you know them.
Illegal aliens casting votes.. More prison releases to come.
Maybe they will only meet as much as his jobs council.
“......improve voters’ experience at the polls....”
Easy fix: Simply mandate that all voters with either EBT or Amnesty cards move to the front of the line.
Yeah good. Put 0bama in charge of voter fraud.
What could possibly go wrong?
You can vote the Communist in but you’ll never be able to vote them out.
I read the title and literally laughed out loud! FUBO!!
I predict that term of office will be very, very short.
send that in to authorities there?
ummm doesn’t this require an act of congress?
Anyone have a confirmed url for the full text of the EO?
Libs (aka radical left wing extremist demokkkrat scumbags) will be allowed to vote no more than 12 times per election for the candidate(s) of their choice. Conservatives are restricted to no more than one (1) vote per election and said votes are subject to review and possible disqualification. Hanging/indented chads prove intent to vote for a liberal candidate. Indented chads never prove intent to vote for a conservative candidate.
Anytime a democrat wants to “fix” something you can bet you are going to come out of it with less freedom and less of your own money.
Short Story by Isaac Asimov: Franchise
In the future, the United States has converted to an "electronic democracy" where the computer Multivac selects a single person to answer a number of questions. Multivac will then use the answers and other data to determine what the results of an election would be, avoiding the need for an actual election to be held.
The story centers around Norman Muller, the man chosen as "Voter of the Year" in 2008. Although the law requires him to accept the dubious honour, he is not sure that he wants the responsibility of representing the entire electorate, worrying that the result will be unfavorable and he will be blamed.
However, after 'voting', he is very proud that the citizens of the United States had, through him, "exercised once again their free, untrammeled franchise" - a statement that is somewhat ironic as the citizens didn't actually get to vote.
Great minds think alike, Legend.
Not sure there is an EO yet but there is
You can vote the Communist in but youll never be able to vote them out.
That’s the ugly truth.
Voting on the interwebs, because that would be so much more secure and convenient and modern and stuff.
“Shorten the lines”???
Already they are voting—again & again & again —for a month before the election!!!!!
Another redistricting job.
No good can possibly come of this. When Obama is done, elections will be even more corrupt than they already are.
We can always hope it gets as much serious attention as his “jobs commission”.
and the new sweeping reforms must be in place before 2014 congressional elections...
There will be two buckets- on goes into a democrat vote pile, one goes into a shredder because only evil people wont vote democrat
The Kenyan Marxist Community Organizing Manboy thinks the fed can impose its voting rules upon the states? LMAO!!!!
This is the work of Valerie Jarrett.
As soon as communists start to weaken in the polls they start to figure out how to manipulate the vote to maintain power. This has always been what Jarrett is about.
More like - “Can we hook up the Organizing for America database to the voting machines directly so we don’t need to have so many staffers to stuff the ballot box”?
Science fiction was so much more than just spaceships and death rays. As a genre, it contained the most insight into the human condition and human nature.
I recall a story, believed to be by Philip K. Dick, where a guy landed on a planet where a prosperous segment of society lived in extravagence, spending without limit. Their debts were deferred to the 7th generation of offspring. Outside their gleaming city lived huddled masses in squalor. They were the 7th generation, described as “deadbeats unwilling to pay off their lawful debts.”
Sounds kind of familiar...
Send to Beck. Send to Malkin. Toss the ball up the court.
Ding~! Ding~! Ding~! I think we have a winner!
I’ll help shorten the line by not getting in it. I’m not keen on wasting my time participating in a rigged election where it’s already been determined that Socialist R will lose to Socialist D.
The easiest way to streamline the election process will be to allow candidates from only one party to participate. This has worked so well in countries like North Korea and Cuba, it has to be perfect for the USSA.
OK, I have an idea. We write this plan for a federal government that is influenced by the states instead of the other way around. We could call it, oh, I don’t know, the Constitution or something. And so then instead of the members of the federal government wondering what they’re supposed to do and trying to make laws about wedding cakes, auto exhaust, and teaching kiddies how to put condoms on bananas, they’d have some guidance they could adhere to and so they wouldn’t have to make stupid laws anymore. Wouldn’t that be great?
Oh, good...another Executive branch grab of states’ rights.
Seems to me that Rojee Kitsap admits to committing a crime (voter fraud) and is no longer eligible for a green card. Rojee should be deported immediately and will need to vote by absentee ballot next time.
just called the RNC after reading he tells us that we shoud move forward for homosexuals
Then this crap or the GOP reaching out to now illegals,
They just got some of my mind and hope all others tell them to get out of DC and understand their elitist cocktail parties is not America and they can go to hel over homosexuals to marry
this health care, food stamps, homosexuals, drugs, we might as well have some states leave at this rate because we live in two different countries.
want to be led by FL as they know how FL is, not some elitist turds who tell me that have now to accept homosexuals their agenda, illegals, health care, and this crap
election reform commission?
What does he really mean? Like amnesty for any community organizers who may have been a little lax during voter drives in filling out the registration forms?
Not to keep people from voting twice, but the publicly see the Rojee's who voted at all. I want to see the landscaper and lawnmower who doesn't speak a word of English, but has a purple finger.
