JERUSALEM — Israel’s military says it’s beefing up medical teams along the border with Syria following several cases of wounded Syrians crossing the frontier to seek medical assistance.
A military official said on Thursday there have been “numerous incidents” in recent months in which Syrians wounded in the fighting in their country arrived at the frontier for first aid from Israeli medics.

Oh, the irony. Arabs raised to hate Israelis seeking Israeli medical aid. I’ll bet some of them go right back to hating Israelis after they’re healed.
