White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest on Friday condemned a spate of sexual violence during protests in Egypt and called on the Egyptian government to intervene.
"Sexual violence, including gang rape, has occurred during recent demonstrations in Egypt, and this is a cause of great concern to the United States, the international community and to many Egyptians," Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One.
"These victims are the mothers, wives, daughters and sisters of Egypt. The Egyptian government has a responsibility to take legal measures to prevent sexual violence and to prosecute people who are involved in such crimes."

Pssst...How about the killing of Christians??
that will be as effective as telling congress to stop increasing spending.
This is perhaps the first appropriate thing the WH has said in weeks. Too bad they funded what they are now condemning.
>> Pssst...How about the killing of Christians??
The scum has no use for Christians.
The Headline is BS. The WH didn’t say anything.
Some Deputy Press Secretary carrying water for Obama went back in the plane to speak to reporters. That guy iusn’t the WH.
The President is the White House, this dork is nothing.
Where is Obama and whay doesn’t he speak for the White House. Do I need to say?
He doesn’t want to piss off his Muslim friends, but he does want to placate some stupid Americans, so he sends this suck butt out to say it for him, later he can say he didn’t really mean it.
Obama has no problem when he wants to say something that comes from the White House. In this case he is hiding and placating.
This clown knows damn well Muslims will defile any non believer female. Obama has proven he is a Muslim by kissing the Saudi’s ring, backing Morsi and the Muslim brotherhood, and; we should really look at the influence that Trita Parsi has/had had over this White House. Valerie Jarrett (sp) made a point to meet with CAIR and the hard core Iranian Americans types. Obama has flooded our Gov with so many hate America types that we have lost so much national security.
Well said. I’ve slapped myself.
>”These victims are the mothers, wives, daughters and sisters of Egypt”
And Christians, goats, little boys and grandma. It’s what the koranimals do. The only way to stop them is to eliminate those teaching it and those that are already ruined.
We could stop sending them billions of our cash too.
Shut-up and send the jizya.
Agreed. and Obozzo’s pals the NAIC. Hagel has already met with Parsi.Have we lost our minds in who we appoint?

Nobama don't be givin no damn bout no stinkin Christians. They ought to have the good sense to get out or convert. Just like the drunk 16 YO, its their own fault when a Brutha is jes followin his natcha.
What utter falsehood.
The rapes and crucifixions were wrought by Obama,
CODE PINK, and the rest.
And that includes the late Ambassador’s “date” rape
arranged by the US State Dept and al Qaeda.
Obama overthrew the Egyptian government and installed these Muslim Brotherhood pals of his.
Indeed, this was his number one priority upon assuming office in 2008.
and, as he told us himself, “Elections have consequences!”
Sorry women....so sorry.
“Here’s a couple hundred million dollars; oh, by the way...now stop that.”
Thanks ColdOne.
Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest (gosh he’s earnest!) rebuked the spate of rapes happening during protests and demonstrations in Egypt.
The Earnest Secretary did NOT rebuke rapes that occur outside of protests; nor maiming, acid attacks, female genital mutilation, stoning, honor killings nor any other frowned-upon-by-the-rest-of-society activities.
We assume the White House approves of THESE other exra-curricular activities, and simply asks the muzlim men to refrain from raping at public events such as protests, where TV cameras and cell phone users are more likely to record the incidents, and frankly, it makes pRezident Barry look bad.
