Full war declaration statement from DPRK (via KCNA):
Reuters ^ | 3/28/13

Posted on 03/29/2013 10:05:56 PM PDT by Kartographer

The moves of the U.S. imperialists to violate the sovereignty of the DPRK and encroach upon its supreme interests have entered an extremely grave phase. Under this situation, the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu, convened an urgent operation meeting on the performance of duty of the Strategic Rocket Force of the Korean People's Army for firepower strike and finally examined and ratified a plan for firepower strike.

The important decision made by him is the declaration of a do-or-die battle to provide an epochal occasion for putting an end to the history of the long-standing showdown with the U.S. and opening a new era. It is also a last warning of justice served to the U.S., south Korean group and other anti-reunification hostile forces. The decision reflects the strong will of the army and people of the DPRK to annihilate the enemies.

Best movie scene ever. And this zoomie appreciates Marines. I will feed them well, if the gooks aren't in the wire.

I always like Jack Nicholson as the Joker in Batman: “What’s the world comin’ to when a guy dressed in a bat suit gets all of my press?”

It’s like something out of a comic book.

But if Un believes in the comic book...that it is destiny...well, that's something else again.

If they drop a nuclear bomb on South Korea, seems to me it would destroy North Korea, too, if only by fallout. I had a relative on the US airbase in the zone between S. Korea and N. Korea and he said North Korea had enormous caves going under that zone and the caves are large enough to drive huge trucks through. He said if N. Korea moved through those caves, our airbase would be lost fast. Our guys are going to die if N. Korea attacks S. Korea so don't be so gung ho on having war.

Yes, they do. They are very extensive. We backtracked one we found in the late 70's. Big enough to drive an prime mover and even a T-72/80 through. Lighted, and all. Long story short, brief firefight, one wounded. It was highly classified until the 90's. The buffer zone between North and South is the DMZ, right on the 38th parallel. There is no airbase within the DMZ (obviously) It is on the Southern side VERY NEAR the DMZ. I would like to hope that those tunnels are all marked and known now.

I like how communists are heavy on adjectives. The anti-reunification hostile imperialist warmongering offensive enemies of the free People of the Revolutionary Republic of the most sacred North Korea.

By the way, if I see any NKoes waltzing around outside, I’ll send you the photos of me feeding them in trade for their weaponry and ammo.

“Survival kit contents check. In them you’ll find:

- One forty-five caliber automatic
- Two boxes of ammunition
- Four days’ concentrated emergency rations
- One drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine,
vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills
- One miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible
- One hundred dollars in rubles
- One hundred dollars in gold
- Nine packs of chewing gum
- One issue of prophylactics
- Three lipsticks
- Three pair of nylon stockings.

Shoot, a fella’ could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.”

I could never figure out how the Russian phrase book would be helpful in Vegas, especially then...the other stuff...maybe!

There have been American and South Korean kiss ups, negotiations and aid or trade deals with the Norks for years.

The old style Nixon-Kissinger detente is the wrong answer to them.

The communist economy of NK can’t survive unless it is propped up by other countries.

I hope real sanctions are finally kicking in on them because the Nork system may slowly be forced into collapse just like the USSR was.

North Korea’s government is crazy, they’ve used assassination squads, bombs, kidnapping whatever to advance their agenda.

We’ll have to wait and see.

The Korean War in 1950 started early on a Sunday morning (4AM). That was Saturday afternoon our time.

The ridiculous communist faggot foreigner in the WH is finally being called out by another fellow traveler in NK.

He has correctly determined that the US, with this degenerate CINC calling the shots and doing everything possible to weaken the US military, won't defend South Korea.

This was predictable from the second the Kenyan was reelected by the retarded American electorate, and is just the beginning of multiple incursions against the USA by enemies foreign and domestic.

It's the reason why the Founders didn't put a right to vote in the Constitution and specifically stated only NBC could be POTUS.

This is the beginning of the end.

Yes, the family member was on duty at that air base. Actually there were two family members there and one was in charge of the base. If there is war, that air base is in trouble and some of our guys will likely die and surely will if a nuclear bomb is dropped.

This is no laughing matter. And, what will Hussein do? He probably doesn't know about this declaration of war if it just came out because he is asleep - again.

At least in this declaration, I didn't see Austin, Texas, mentioned as a target like it was earlier today.

The effects of nuclear fallouts are way over exaggerated. Sure, you don’t want to breath the stuff in, but it doesn’t last forever like in the doomsday movies.

You should maybe go with me to Las Vegas in the wintertime when the wind is strong and the dust is harsh.

I would take you to good places where girls speak good Russian... and get you there cheap... you can ride in my cab...

Dude... The only thing I ask when I hit a town is who owns it... I'll figure out the culture and the language.

Or which one I want to deal with.

Hell, my grandchildren are Cambodian. Try learning a tonal language after you go deef.

"Do we really have to be afraid of a nation that calls its leader “the greatest-ever commander”? It’s like something out of a comic book."

We won't nuke them and we are not prepared to lose our kids to defend the South Koreans against North Korean communists when we are pretty much communist ourselves due to the imposition of Universal Suffrage.

Warnings have been going out on this forum for years.

Chickens are coming home to roost.

I think that it’s worrisome that this weekend is Easter Sunday. Think Yom Kippur. They may think that we will all be in church (unfortunately, very mistaken). It’s fairly close to a full moon, they have no good night vision stuff (at least not in any quantity), and we do. So, it’s actually a more even playing field for a low-tech aggressor to have the moon.

Also, sadly, I think the troops we have on that border are somewhat sacrificial, a trip wire, and they know this.

This has got to be the toughest assignment in the military.

I wonder where the Chinese are on this. Their boy is getting a little out of control. I’m sure that he was amusing for a while...now...not so funny.

But we are not talking about two separate countries - the only dividing line is basically a line in the sand. One side N. Korea, one side S. Korea.

If a nuke landed right on top of your house and you were safe underground in an appropriate shelter, you’d be able to walk out, probably for short periods of time, within the first week or two. I forget how long it takes until it is totally safe, but it isn’t very long. So maybe you’ll get cancer in 30 years. Boo Hoo! You’re not in a hole forever, and you probably would have gotten it anyway. Man up!
